I was looking at the Indy configuration and the cycle track is closest but it is backwards, is there anyway to change the configuration to run the track the other direction? I looked and couldn't find anything.

According to the iracing forums it's not possible, planned feature maybe.

A staff member commented that it is a matter of development time. Timing/scoring for a reverse track has to be more or less done from scratch.

I am running the DE in August as well and found the same thing this weekend, kind of disappointing...

I just ended up running the grand prix course and driving the bike course anyway. You get the time penalty for cutting, but at least some familiarity with the layout although the layout of the safety cones is completely wrong. I think if you ran the bike on backwards you would be DQed in short order, though I didn't try that. I was really hoping leverage iRacing for this event too...

You should be able to run it backwards in an offline private practice session without being DQ'd.

No laptimes of course, but it's a way to at least familiarize yourself with it.

Yes I just did that, ran maybe 15~20 laps, it doesn't do anything, you can even cut the course and you don't get a black flag. For example I tried to cut across the grass to make turn 12.

Do you guys run the RUF? If so, which version? I'm currently sitting on "almost two laps" as my record for the RUF RWD insanity machine. The AWD and Track versions are much easier for me to drive.

This layout looks completely different than other's I have seen for the road course, particularly turns 5-6. Anyway, just a heads up. Not sure if this layout can be replicated in Iracing or not, will have to check tonight.

Yes, the "old" F1 half Oval (paving is still there) is replaced by the chicane at turns 5 and 6. iRacing has the old F1 track road course which still uses that F1 half oval and turns 7 thru 10 are wrong (gone) and replace with the current 2014 redesign / repaving.

So when does the real world season wind down for you guys? Should we aim for a mid October restart to our league? What region of tracks should we run?

I've been trying to stay racing sharp in between clutch jobs on my 944. Can't find time to really prepare for an official race, but I'm still enjoying taking the 2009 F1 car for a rip around Spa.

Right now the season is ending way too early going to run the club race at Mid Ohio and that's it. Trying to find something near the end of Oct. I am good starting in Sept.
