It does sound like this place is starting to pick up interest again though.

You might also consider the PCA league. It's run by PCA so... well... yeah.... but it's got decent participation rates, the racing has been really very, very clean, with a very wide range of ability levels so there's competition for everyone. They broke things into 4 classes based on iRating (which is a rough equivalence to ability) so in theory, you won't get totally STOMPED in your race. I think there are a couple races left before they break for the summer season.... and I *do* see somewhat regular participation over the summer in the form of quick pickup races. https://pcasimracing.com/ would be one place to start. There's literally a half dozen different places where they communicate (like I said... PCA...) so no really good single community spot to connect and ask questions, etc. but I think the one that's the most active would be one of the FB pages (either https://www.facebook.com/groups/821456908231686/ or https://www.facebook.com/pcasimracing/)
Signed up, unfortunately PCA races happen after midnight my time, maybe better on weekends?

Hi. Anyone have experience with the Thrustmaster TS-XW Racer P310 Competition Mod wheel and pedal set? New setup on windows 10 using a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 and Oculus Rift. I can't get the wheel and pedal to work properly. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, some improvement but after a computer restart iRacing loses the control setup and back to square one. Thrustmaster tech support not answering. Any ideas?

If anyone is interested we are doing a "series" of events for today as it is gross, cold and raining here and I finally have time on my calendar. 12-3P EST is FP1, 3-6P EST will be FP2, 7PEST will be 45 Min FP3, 15 Min Qual, 45 Minute race with mandatory Pit stop. By 7 I "should" be able to figure out how to limit everyone's starting fuel. Track will be WGI with the Bus stop, 70F Each session with start at same time as real life but race will be 11a... Car is going to be limited to Cayman Practice will have unlimited repairs but a penalty at 15X incident points, Race will have Penalty at 12x incident points and 1 quick repair to keep it fun.

If you run a custom paint, make sure it is on Trading Paints, you don't have to publish it but that way everyone can run TP (No pun intended) and we can still see paints

Well that was a fun midday break .065 off of Huth is alright once I tried his setup. Weird because his set felt numb like the tires were underinflated (they were -3.0psi from my setup) but the grip was definitely there...

My current normal league switched back to Miatas (talk about different world, Cayman vs. Miata...) but we did run the GT4 for a short 5 week season and I love how raceable this car is. The next PCA season that uses this car should be pretty good.

Yea, you guys were flying, I finally got into the low 58's which I'm actually pretty happy with. Time for something to eat then I'm setting up a 45 minute practice, 15 min qual and 45 minute race starting at 7p est. Same session name and PW

That was fun until I T-boned a car that spun in 1 and totaled my car. Lets do it again.

Edit: I didn't see who I hit. I thought I was going to get around and then I wasn't.
