OFFICIAL Cayenne Hybrid Delay Thread

Hey guys, tried to order a MY19, but it seems that production has already ended. I left a deposit for a MY20 at the dealership, but they have no idea about when production will start or when they will have allocation. Any insight as to when we can expect to see the MY20s?

Delivery back to 6 September 2019
Just got word from my dealer that my 2019 E-Hybrid will be at the dealers on 6 September 2019. Moved up a month from the previous Porsche note, which said 4 October.

I have seen, in the UK at least, that Porsche have updated their website with WLTP figures with an electric range of 19-22 miles; 20-23 city. The configurator is also now up to date with MY2020 features / pricing. It doesn't seem as though the battery capacity has been upped, though it could also be that given the new WLTP tests are *apparently* more stringent, then these figures may be realistic, which personally suits my commute and will enable me to drive all-electric to and from work if I wanted to.
It looks to me like there has been some movement and builds and deliveries may be on track... Roll on next month!

Interesting that they are now using range for eg CO2 emissions, presumably dependent on wheel size chosen?

This is definitely good news. I emailed PEC and was told they'll have an updated Friday. PCNA is pushing to get the software updates done asap so we'll see if they pull through!

If anyone in Europe has actually taken delivery, could you please tell us if your steering column can be powered adjusted? I read from the standard equipment list that it's manual (which is absolutely ridiculous in this type of car), but I saw a few videos that showed it is powered. I think it may have something to do with whether or not you have the 14 way seats with memory, but I'm not 100% sure. In any case, some insight would be appreciated...

My dealer in AZ told me this afternoon that my vehicle will be at there on Sept. 6. It was originally to be there on Oct. 4. It will be ready for delivery on Sept. 15 and I have a VIN, too. Things are definitely looking up!

I mentioned to PEC how the on sale date seems to have been pushed back to 9/6. My delivery is now scheduled for the second week of September! About a month ahead of what it was before...let’s hope it stays that way.

Ouch, my 2016 SEH does better with a 2.5 year old battery; I'm getting 14-15 miles elec (sometimes 16) and seeing 58MPGe in real life around town (work from home, so no real commute). I love mine, but they need to get to about 25-30 miles electric to bring more people in. That way they could plug in at work or the mall, etc.
Hopefully real #s will be better for you all once you get them in and get them on the road.

Something's not right about their estimates- because I did a comparison with a 2017 Cayenne S e-hybrid, and it showed the same electric only range (with a 10 kWh battery as opposed to 14 in the new Cayenne). And it lists the 2017 Cayenne S e-hybrid as equipped with a super charger? AND, reviewers in Europe are reporting closer to 20 mile range. Something doesn't sound right?
