I registered my 2016 CD. Looks like I'm splitting the $$$ with the former lessee=$5,305.42.

Registered the wife's 2015 Touareg TDI, she'll get almost $9K.

Registered my 2012 Touareg TDI, getting just over $49K.

I have just about won the VW lottery. When all is said and done, I might have paid $10K for my 2016 CD=totally happy.

Yep, as long as I'm understanding what I'm reading right, take the amount the website shows you and divide it in half. Add the Bosch amount and that's the first half.

Once you get the fix applied, you get the rest. And, of course, if the fix doesn't get approved (unlikely), we move to buyback tables.

It is a freaking incredible deal. It is more than I had paid for the vehicle back in 2013. I bought the perfect vehicle back on 10/2013.

My brother in law got $3,000 more than he had paid for his 2015 Passat TDI when he sold it back to VW. I will not complain.

The 2016 Cayenne Diesel is incredible. I think it blows the Touareg away in every area. Thanks for the crime Volkswagen Auto Group. Who says crime doesn't pay? It does.

I'm sure that the people/company/outfit, hired by VW to do the work are happy to be paid to do it. They had better be pleasant and helpful.

Don't we demand/deserve it as Porsche owners?

A year and half later, no Bentley. Just a lousy $10K or so

Now that I am reading back the early comments, who would have thought we would end up with the compromise reached

That is, four and a half billion dollars.

That's why. Good will only goes so far... and I don't think it goes that far.
skiahh...that was my main point that I was getting at...that a primary reason why Porsche was not likely to buy back those vehicles was a monetary one due to the cost we pay and they charge for these vehicles. A fully optioned Cayenne can top $100k easy and Porsche knows that to re-purchase these cars which they may or may not be able to sell would be a serious financial hit!

for my 2013 CD with msrp of $76k( i leased it from 2013-2016 and bought it on 12/16)
I got:
Amount VW Will Pay You:$6,336.74
I thought it will be higher the $$.

*Current owners will receive an Emissions Compliant Repair free of charge and will also receive a Owner Repair Payment calculated using the following components; 1)10% of the vehicle’s September 2015 NADA Clean Retail Value (adjusted for options, but not mileage), 2) a fixed dollar amount. The offer amount reflected above is based, in part, on the fact that one or more claimants have indicated that they sold or leased your vehicle after September 18, 2015 and on or before January 31, 2017. Should the claim(s) made by the Former Owner(s) or Lessee(s) be deemed invalid, you will receive a "top up" payment reflecting the balance of the amount of buyback compensation associated with your vehicle.

Vehicles receiving the Emissions Compliant Repair will also receive an extended emissions warranty covering the emissions system of the eligible vehicle.

It is higher... you're just splitting it with a former owner/lessee.

I must admit that I threw them a little loop today when I mentioned that I was the first and the second owner of our 2014 Cayenne Diesel. WE traded it in when the 2015 came in. After a week my wife asked if the 2014 was still on the lot. I said yes and she said go buy it back. So I did, being a good husband so we have the 2015 and the 2014 which we are the first and second owners of, and to the state of Texas we are the only owners.

Just went through the process on our Q5 TDI purchased in 9/2013. Should get payment of $8431.74 + the Bosch 1.5K...

Just gonna keep driving it and enjoying the torque and mileage- not sure if I'll actually get the "fix" when it becomes available.

Default Photo ID's ????

Does anyone with a Lawyerly or government bureaucrats background have any insights on why we must submit a government issued color photo ID front and back to be eligible to receive the compensation. The bar code on the rear is readable as well as the clear photo on the front. This seems ripe to be stolen buy some hacker group at some point in the future.

Paranoia I admit, but out of all of the issues with their scandal this is the one that gets under my skin the most !!

Front and back on a driver's license? I only provided front and will upload my passport expiring next year instead.
