Mr12Volt - The solution for Carplay and Android Auto integration

Just for the benefit of us all, @Roman ACS : the output screen resolution of the Mr12Volt device for the PCM 3.1 is 800 x 480 pixels (native resolution of the PCM), correct?
I only ask as I've found other posts about another vendor that did not output the native screen resolution of the PCM and caused images to be distorted and the text to be somewhat blurred.

One thing is screen resolution (we now all know it's 800 x 480 pixels), but has anyone done tests regarding the PPI (pixels per inch) to see if there is a difference regarding the screen's (WVGA) TFT ability to reproduce a higher quality image? There must be a point at which there is no sense in making a higher resolution file (bigger file size) if the PCM screen is unable to display it. I wonder if anyone has this piece of info. No sense in loading a 10MB image size (800x480px @ XYZ ppi) if a simple 500Kb file will do...
Regarding the instructions on how to replace the boot logo (with the aforementioned file size/resolution), I fully respect that each vendor must provide this individually. Don't believe it's fair to ask for one person to do all the work so all other vendors can benefit from the same information. To each his own.

Regarding boot logo, I dedicate a lot of time to helping my Mr12Volt customers and I want to continue to provide them with the best service possible! Any of my buyers will get the files and info by email as needed.
