Don,
that made my day...
I was not aware he has a naturally aspirated engine, else I would not have replied on coding this feature the way I did ..
cheers

There is no "absolute pressure" in an intake manifold on a normally aspirated car. There is a vacuum when the engine is running. You can measure it with a simple vacuum gauge which references it to air-pressure at sea-level (1-bar). If you're looking to measure the local air-pressure vs sea-level air-pressure, you'd use an altimeter. There is no way to "code" this into the ECU on a non-Turbo Cayenne and display it on the dash because Porsche understands this.
That's it for me. There is an "ignore" feature on Rennlist - you've made it to my list of people I simply no longer see or hear from.

I've been all over the place deciding what to get. The PIWIS laptop or tablet complete, II or III, or the Launch X431 Torque or Turbo. Then, I started looking at the Autel 906BT again. I see in the Ferrari chats quite a bit of talk, and the Launch Tech USA Torque version is the one many are using. The X431 Torque is probably equivalent to the X431 V+ Global version. So far, before even buying it, LTUSA has not answered any questions. Maybe they're on a very extended Christmas vacation
Searching for the 906BT Porsche and Ferrari users didn't yield much but I'm still trying to look at all features to compare-

@deilenberger thank you for the web copy paste for the definition of the absolute pressure, it was a waste of time to explain it dear. To answer your question, yes I am looking to show what the MAP sensor measure, there must be a variable that capture this and send it to the ÉCU, I was wondering if this can be coded or requires hard programming. (The idea again is to go out of the box).
@rainer , yes my car is a naturally aspirated, I mentioned that before, you might missed it.

This vendor has the PIWIS III with Lenovo laptop, free shipping-

Others have the Lenovo Yoga, not sure which one is better(?)
Still considering X431 Torque or the new Turbo

1- Adaptive cruise control
2- Initialize steering wheel angle sensor (when you retrofit heated steering wheel and use different clockspring)
(Guaranteed you wont be able to use x431 for them)
Then lets revisit your statement

The number of times I would need that (I've retrofitted a heated steering wheel on my Touareg with a VAG-COM - as to the steering angle it corrects itself by turning the wheel far right and far left; but hey it's a VDub) pales by the number of non Porsches that I get to work on. To each his own as I said, two years of free updates 10,000 vehicles covered, statement revisited
