    Don:

I am new to Rennlist and want top place an ad; but can't figure out how to do it. Sorry for the lame question; but I don't see any tab to post an ad.

Where does one introduce himself who is now waiting on his 2018 Macan Turbo to be delivered? Twenty miles on it....

    Don -

Robb M. is set to post the new rules for the new marketplace forum. I sent him my final edited version, and he invited me to create the actual announcement. His first draft has my name on the announcement, but I think as a minimum both of our names should be there - or maybe yours only, because you contributed a large chunk of that announcement. Whadya think?

    Don,

Looks like RL is receiving spambot attacks in the Cayenne folder. Please look into it, thx

Don,any chance we can uncover a service campaign relating to the cowel drains, ive had 2 incidents about 1 year apart involving water into the cabin, soaking the carpet and shorting the ac blower motor both times, both repairs around $1800.00 and 2 weeks downtime at the dealer. The labor involved, removing both seats, i think he told me both sides of carpeting have to be removed and dried, even thou driver side appeared to be dry, talk about a bad design!....this is a garaged vehicle with very low mileage(2011 turbo,22.000 miles) not only that, after the first incident the car has been in and out of the dealer(Champion Porsche Pompano,FL) a tow package installation, cam bolt recall, each time they present you with a multi function check list,(you know to show you how thorough they are), no check for the Cowel drains or ac drain on that list, they should have checked these drains considering the history on my vehicle and the fact that he (service manager)told me he sees this issue .

I'm off in the wilds of Canada (actually London Ontario) on a motorcycle trip.. so my web access is limited. I'll take a look - but are other people posting questions in the thread? Most threads in the DIY section are locked so they don't get cluttered up with chit-chat.. but I can certainly open yours - but that means it's open for anyone to post in.

Please send me the link to it in case I can't find it. I'm not at a real computer when I'm on the road, so it's difficult to do what should be simple things sometimes.

    Don,

    Admin sent me your way.

I am a paid member and for some reason I am now unable to contribute to any of the Cayenne DIY threads. I can edit my DIY, but I can not "Reply" as members ask questions in the thread. I get a not authorized message.

Can you help me address this?

Hello deilenberger. My name is John and KTR6 suggested I contact you directly to consider updating a closed thread he had started. I had read KTR6's post on repairing the window shade curtain motor on the 958 (I've now done both of mine...). I tackled the project on my 2013 Cayenne GTS and succeeded, albeit after some setbacks which I've outlined in case it can be of help to others. I tried to post it as a reply to the original thread but since its closed, I'm not allowed. If you see it fit, perhaps you can post it since my experience could save someone else quite some time. I tried pasting it to this message but it was too long and the system blocked it from going through. I could email it to you if you'd like or send it to you you in three or four separate messages on Rennlist. Let me know and thanks again.
