@gabylonfive did enabling this option allow your Porsche Connect app to control preheat/cool functionality or not?

Change when maintenance services are due. I saw this question being asked in the 6speed 958 forum. I put on my winter tires tonight so had some time to look into it.
Located in Instrument Cluster. Google says SIA stands for "Service Intervall Anzeige," which translates to Service Interval Indicator. Selecting each will allow you to set when these indicators go off.
This is the annual oil change indicator. I've set the App to show Imperial values but the Porsche App still shows everything in KM. The "Distance indicator threshold" is originally set to 1,609km which is 1,000 miles. Change to 805km and the message will pop up at 500 miles instead of 1,000 miles. If you change your oil sooner than the set 10,000 miles, you can change the first value where it says 16,090km.
If you scroll down to the bottom, it even tells you the month/day/year when the last service is due. This is why the system asks you to input the date when you performed the oil change to reset the message.
I'm not sure what 3,218km (2,000miles) and 60 days are referring to. I think I only see the message pop up on mine when it's due in 30 days.
This is the intermediate service page. Almost the same settings as the oil service one.
Major service page
I set all 3 of my services "distance indicator threshold" to 805km, which is 500 miles.

engine running
no lights on
I have multiple use cases for this but I cannot be the only one that has thought this would be a nice feature?
is it possible?

[QUOTE=gabylonfive;16109204]sure thing. i found it in instrument cluster:
> Board computer menu configuration
> Board computer menu configuration_1
> Climate timer set to Active
You'll find the options in Vehicle Menu:
I tested both functions today:
if you tick the checkbox for maintain temp the car will keep the interior the same temp for 10 minutes after you shut off the ignition.
you can also set either single or recurring schedules for precooling/heating. this will keep the car cool/warm for 10 mins after the timer activates.
Just did this today. First I thought it did not work, as I made the changes but did not see them reflect in the dashboard. but i had to fully turn off the car/system, and then after subsequent boot the option came up. Testing it out - but very happy it's there!

I'm excited to tinker with this program. In addition to putting an SD card in so I would have plenty of memory for pictures and reports, I ordered a screen protector
The Mini I just bought is a Lenovo TB-7504N underneath the sturdy rubber cover but the screen will be exposed to dirty garage fingers and potential damage.

My first act was to turn off my seat belt chime. I wear a seat belt always but my mailbox is a 9 iron from my garage so I stop there on the way home. When I get back in the car, I skip the seat belt but the chime annoys me.
The big win would be solving this! I've only had the car for a little over a week but I've found myself driving down the road a few times with the windows folded in. Parking in the garage at home is a little tight so I fold the mirrors in manually. I'd like them to fold out automatically when I reach 5mph which would be basically after I pull out of a parking space in a public lot or after I pull out of the garage at home.
It would be cool to be able to manually program 'macro' functions. For example, when I'm
I have literally spent 100 hours to engineer and fabricate an automation that saved me 5 seconds per instance. Sometimes you do something just to see if you can!

- in drive
- and the car has been on for 10 minutes or more
- and I arrive home (query the navigation GPS)
- and the speed falls below 5mph

I noticed the same thing in my Cayenne - prior to coding the mirrors to fold-on-lock if I folded the mirrors they would stay folded all the way up to freeway speeds (pretty startling if you don't notice.) All my previous cars would unfold at ~15-20 mph but could be coded to whatever value after the fact. I'll look and see if it can be modified, though with the fold-on-lock enabled the mirrors automatically unfold when the ignition is turned on.

I think in the 2015+ models, you can't permanently disable the start/stop? In the Engine module, there is a coding for the start/stop function. I set it to Inactive for now. Haven't test it but I'm hoping I can finally turn off the LED light on the console button.
Start/Stop is located in both the Engine and Gateway module. I've deactivated it in both. Will test and report back.
Edit: tested and I still need to keep the buttom on the center console activated. Maybe only effective on 2015+ model?

Hello,
Awesome thread!! Thanks for that. I managed to configure the start and stop button to remember the last state. No need anymore to deactivate manually the S&S at each engine start. The buttons of the center console are managed by the AC module (!!) and there are 2 items to recode in order to enabled the S&S « last mode » behaviour. I will post screenshots ASAP.
Regards,
LL
