Hi! I just got the cayenne 2007 (07-10') model and did the dynavin n6 swap this afternoon. Now i have encounterd some issues. The pdc and obc are both not working. For the obc everything just stays at "0". Now cnb88 says Dynavin says its not supported for the cayenne, however since i read the whole thread i saw people post pictures that atleast their obc is working, not sure if anyone got the pdc working. Is it definetly sure that the pdc and obc aren't supported for the porsche cayenne?

Hi robbb.

Regarding the missing obc and pdc, this has been confirmed by Dynavin (I wrote them directly). According to Dynavin, the information for PDC and obc is not communicated via CANBUS thus not available for the Dynavin unit. If you are able to find a solution, I would very much appreciate it (please post it in this thread).

Best regards,
cnb88

Hi, okay well thats too bad that it wont work. if they said that information in not being sent to the canbus then a future software update wont do the trick either . However im not sure if this is the case for you guys but my canbus has two connector inputs, at the moment im only using one. Maybe i should try plugging it in to the other side of the canbus see if that makes a difference. Tomorrow ill pull out the head unit again.

As far as I remember, the CANBUS cable plug only fits one of the inputs (the numbers of pins are different on the two inputs).

I tried and you were right. Different input.. my wiring harness from the dynavin doesnt utilize all the wires coming from the car. Does anyone have a schematic of the wiring harness that comes from the car?

There are three bus systems in the Cayenne. The CANBUS which communicates to the major drive-train systems, the infotainment bus ( I believe that is the fiber optic bus) which connects the radio to the sub systems and the COMFORTBUS which connects things like the heated seats and such to the main systems. At least from all my research that's what I have discovered.

Not in my car right now but it should be under the "sound" menu and pick the very top option which should be the "fader/balance" menu.

You can also set time delays in this menu.

What I don't like is that they all have raised their prices. It use to be $799.

I stand corrected on my claim of price going up. The price is bit higher only because the manufacturer has increased their price. The Dynavin store price is $1049 but JT Distributing still discounts it quite a bit. I would not buy from anyone other than JT as they stand behind their sales.

Happened last time they went out of stock and came back. Wouldn't be surprised if it happened again. Communist China understands supply and demand. The prince difference ultimately isn't a lot at $50 but given some of the teething issues it was enough to give me pause. For more money I expect a more finished product, which it isn't.

Regarding the Ottonavi place, they claim 49 in stock but say shipping in 1-2 weeks which means they really don't have any in stock.
