Default Dynavin head unit

Anyone tried this yet to replace the factory radio? Seems like it is supposed to be a drop-in replacement for factory head unit and works with MOST without requiring any other adapter.

Below is the link:

Looks interesting. iGo is a known nav pkg, and if the Dynavin doesn't need the MOST/HUR (fiber optic) adapter, that's a huge savings.

Not yet. Out of town till end of the month. Will order and install after that.
Out of the various options 1) do nothing, 2) fm modulator 3) MOST adapter + Kenwood/Alpine unit, 4) Mobridge or Dension, this seems to offer the most value for $ for PCM 2.0

I look forward to your report. I'm looking to see the best way to upgrade my '06 to be able to get bluetooth and SD/USB storage.

If you have a BOSE system will this Dynavin use the existing amp or it's own?

Looking here, flicking through the pictures:

Looks like DVN-PC does integrate with the MOST bus.

From the research I did the nav comes with a CE version but can be upgraded to Android but the android version relies 100 percent on your apps on your phone. So if you want external apps like Waze or Pandora you lose the built in nav.

I think you'll lose backup camera too unless you replace it with aftermarket camera or you can probably get a fakra to rca connector to connect to dynavin. I've been doing some research myself since I'm interested in this product for my 06 CTTS.

I just ordered this from Jeff. Will report back once it's received and installed. Thanks.

Could somebody use a MOST-HUR adapter to connect this head unit to the factory Bose system?

From talking to the distributor, the unit does not need any adapter and should plug directly as a replacement for PCM.
