I got them on the phone and ordered the new BT unit. Their new batch just cleared customs and mine has been shipped to me already, tracking indicates an EST arrival of 5/27

Great to hear they are out, what was the upgrade cost? Are we doing a group buy upgrade?

Is it true that you need to have the sim card option on your PCM to use their BT unit?

Thanks Mike- Do I need to have the telephone buttons on my PCM? I only have CD & CDC buttons.

Also is there any type of swap offered at this point?

Thats the same as mine, "currently" I just use voice dial or hit the contacts in the phone.

SOON - I will get my dealer to removes the CDC from the cuicuit, and try to set my PCM to ROW which should remap the CDC and CD buttons to euro. This may also give me phone book and dial capability, not sure about that yet.

Other than that the BT works great inbound and outbound

Mike, I'm going in to the dealer in the AM to have the CDC removed from the circuit in my 996TT. I don't have the phone buttons either. Do I just have them set the PCM to ROW and that will change the two buttons to a phone function?
I had the BT unit installed in my Cayenne today and will get that into the dealer next week. We were able to make the BT unit recognize the phone but it didn't function right. I'll take that in next week and have the dealer activate the phone in the PCM and that will hopefully fix that.

Well, the dealer didn't have any problem deactivating the CDC and they activated the phone in 04 non-phone PCM. I don't have the bluetooth phone with me but I'll update when I try it.

got my BT unit in today after a hassle with FedEx. Will install this weekend into my 08 pepper. Must I remove the CDC? Seems like no one has had any issue with leaving it in.

You'll get an error when you start up with the CDC still in the loop. At least that's what was going on in my 996 that had the CDC. My Cayenne doesn't have it so it wasn't an issue there.
The phone won't work in the Cayenne yet. Have to get the dealer to activate the phone in that one.

Thanks
I can't get my phone to bond with the mobridge. It tells me I have an invalid pin. I used the default security of 000000 and it won't accept it. Any idea what else I could do?
I don't see any difference in the screens. Just the ipod stuff although it will let me enter data in the list, name, phone, address, etc.
