Hi,
I just received an email from Scott from Mobridge and it seems we didnt underestand each other in the phone call we had yesterday.

There is an upgrade for this kit.
Here is a copy of his email

"Federico,
What I said was mObridge Audio is a totally separate unit and must be replaced by mObridge Bluetooth. There is still an upgrade program planned, and it will be offered at a TBD discount to our loyal Rennlist crowd. Sorry if this was not clear.

Again, we appreciate your support and business.

Thanks!
Scott
mObridge"

Can you also post up the info to remove the C & D pillar trim - the link refers to it as PAGE 137, 161, 144, 30 & 98.

As far as removal of the metal trim I never did get it to pop off but was able to get to the rest of the trim by just getting some play in it and moving the trim piece it connects to out of the way (in case anyone is doing this as well)

Thanks!!

At 6mps the download was no issue but damn that is a lot of trim removal - I guess I can install the new rear seat belts while I am at it.

Whoa! Is there a manual like this for the 997TT? I think I found a place for the Mobridge unit and this would help with the R&R process.

No that is the Bose amp. The connections you are looking for are at the back left side of the CDC

Finally! Got that damn CD Changer out- you would think removing the trim would make it easier - NOT!

Anyone else remove their changer themselves?

Hello guys, do you know if the MObridge unit we are buying supports video in the screen of the PSM, I was thinkng if this kit supports it, we might be able to download movies to the Ipod and play them in the cayenne, like DVD concerts of maybe some nice movie, by using PQ DVD to Ipod software conversion.

This is just an idea, it would be nice to have this feature.

Video is on the development path I was told, after BT is in full production. it has the capability but in the US some rules have to apply (5mph). I smell a hack.
