Your CDC is still be in-circuit Kevin, you cannot break the circuit at the front because it also feeds the Bose amp at the rear, you may suffer problems if you dont bypass the CDC.

Hmm ok, can you save me some search time, what exactly is needed to do?
So far I've had 0 issues, what problems would occur?

The main issue is that the system only allows 1 CDC on the ring, you now have 2 and there could be a lockup if both are detected. Fuse pull will correct but may not.


you really should pull the unit and place the fibre loop on the CDC fibre connection for best results, or just take the risk, your call.

And yes, i'm a new user, heck I haven't even picked the car up yet! Soon to be owner of a 04CTT. I might have to change my handle (just sold the S4, wife still drives the Touareg).

Actually you are just too late today I am annoucing the GB is closed. There may be another for the BT Version at a later date, sorry.

Thanks, I already got a hold of it. It solves that problem and it definitely starts up quicker. Seems it can't remember the track sequence setting from the PCM though
