.1 is about to break the internet in 7 days.
Reserve not met. I think the final bid was fair when you consider the extra $5k fee.

I think you have a seller who's waited for 14 or so years for his payoff and 143 wasn't what he was dreaming about. He should think long and hard about that last bid, the market has spoken.

Nice looking 11k-mile 08:

Not the most exciting spec maybe but should still do well I'd think.

Okay folks... A friend and member here (just doesn't post much due to time) is testing the waters of the market with his MEXICO BLUE PTS 997.2 TURBO S!!

Spread the word!! He purchased it on BAT a few years ago and it has an Fidelity Platinum Warranty on it until 2026!! He's only put like 4500 miles on it I think since he purchased it.

Here is his FB post and the old BAT link.

Very nice car but I think it's missing a third pedal.

I agree. It was bid to $143,000.00 which is more than it probably cost when it was new.

I agree when you can sell for what the car cost new its time to think about it, I would at least consider it with my 997.2 tt manual. Just dont know what to replace it with........

that really is the problem if one sells a .2 manual... where do you go from here with similar money? I'm not really interested in vintage... the only car recently that I sort of got excited about was a Ferrari 599.

That is the problem, maybe consider a different type of car I would drive more like a luxo barge 7 series or Benz. Replacing a manual is going to be next to impossible going forward with EV etc.

I guess it depends on how you look at it. That car (according to the auction) was $132k in 2007. So yeah, dude did pretty well. But there are people who track the value of cars relative to inflation---this might be one of those cases. The MSRP of that car translates to a much more in 2021 money. Only a guess, but I bet the owner was looking for a good $10k-15k more. Not saying it's right or even reasonable, but clearly a case of a guy valuing the car at a price out of line with what the people who had money to spend on 8/12/21 thought the car was worth. Will be interesting to see if this car is listed on Pcar over the next couple of months.
