Apparently my original spec was PCM leather, so the PCM controls in my car are covered in black leather. First I tried to disassemble the new unit to free up the trim (to properly paint it), but it was wayyy too integrated for my comfort. So, I just taped it up and used a can of Duplicate-Color Vinyl and Fabric Coating in matte black.

Nice work, tedious stuff for sure but end result looks great. If you wanted to match it to spec or the finish doesn't hold up, I'm sure Frank at Exclusive Option can get you sorted. I may do the PCCM+ down the road and my spec has the PCM in carrera red leather. If I go that route will have it shipped to Frank and wrapped in OE carrera red leather to match spec

Many thanks. Btw, I heard about exclusive option's work w/ these immediately after I finished the painting job. Always the way it goes, right? I'll use him to wrap the next PCCM plus unit which should come out in 2040.

Coilovers, toe links, upper control arms installed today. Eyeballed the toe/camber for now.
A bit overzealous on the ride height... Will have to raise it. But does look good low

Made use of the unused sport chronometer. Removed it and installed something useful in its place.

I’ve been wanting to install a boost
meter on my car for some time because the factory meter is referenced and reports from MAP (which is pre throttle) and doesn’t display anything beyond 18psi / 1.2 bar.

I could never find a boost gauge that appealed to me aesthetically until I found this one by Greddy performance.

-Greddy Sirius Vision gauge
-Greddy Sirius control unit
-Greddy pressure sensor

The cool part about this product lineup is that the vision meter is able to be overlayed on top of a standard analog gauge which will provide a live viewing of two parameters.

It’s also expandable and the user can add different pressure and temp sensors and pin them directly to the control unit.

The control unit is also pretty smart for its size. Provides the voltage and ground inputs needed for each sensor and is the brain for data output & control.

There is also a OBDII plug-in harness available which when used will enable the display of all engine parameters referenced from the ECU. (I have not confirmed this on our cars and whether it will truly display everything a scan tool or Cobb Accessport would).

You can also link multiple gauges together with their unify system.

Install went well. Took longer than expected because I had to take the entire interior of the car out to plan the harness routing. Also had to identify my constant and switched voltage outputs, grounds and illumination wires available from the cars center console wire harness. For a clean install, I chose to put the control unit in the center armrest console.

It works well and is super accurate. The peak function you can set to any value to display a warning is also very useful to monitor consistency. I compared some readings against the factory boost meter and this one displays a faster and a precise reading to the _._x bar. there is a discrepancy in WOT at full boost when the sport mode arrow up is active; the factory meter reads 1.2 bar whereas the aftermarket unit reads a peak of 1.51 bar.

Interesting to see it in action.

*it should also make boost leak testing a lot easier. Simply do it the way you normally would, turn the key on to accessory and monitor what the meter is reporting and time the pressure bleed off.

Sensor plumbed and referenced from post throttle vacuum source.

Vacuum teed off from FPR. Sensor harness routed through the upper firewall into the cabin.

Control unit / harness

Highly recommend.

My TTS has been MIA since October. Long story about PPF removal and paint coming off, and the long road I had to go to get her looking right again, bright side is I added a GT2 spoiler and had it painted to match. Now that I have her back, I've started on my winter interior project list. This past week I swapped out the Guards red seat belts for Speed Yellow. It wasn't too bad to do, and some of the guides on here were really helpful. I did get the airbag light after reconnecting the battery but that's because I didn't snap-in the little orange clips and somehow the ECU knows. Luckily my Cobb tool did the reset. Additionally, I added the FVD Speed Yellow chrono overlay. Last touch for the integration of the Speed Yellow was a set of Coco mats that are black and yellow. I sourced these off a Black Friday discount. These things are beastly in weight and thickness. Here's some pics of the work. I have more interior work coming up very soon once the temps come back up. Cheers!

Nerded out a bit more with this boost gauge. Decided to add the analog meter to the vision gauge. It’s amazing how perfectly this thing fits in our chrono bezels. I’m having a custom gauge surround 3D printed which will blank out the TRUST logo. I’ll paint it silver which should closely resemble a factory chronometer.

I’ll probably wire in a fast response iAT sensor to display on the vision meter.

Dude, that's a minor engineering marvel.

Pulled out the engine for the first time and replaced the fuel injectors. I’ll replace a few other items as well whiles the engine is out. I didn’t quite give myself enough clearance to pull the motor out from under the car (too many support blocks under the engine and trans), but fortunately everything I’m addressing can be done with the motor where it is.

Looks like the three of us in the DMV are staying busy with our 997s. I finished up my interior project this weekend. I changed out the door sills, the center console lid, installed Numeric pedals, and Escort M2 dash camera. It was not fun doing those door sills. It's been in some other posts here but it's a sold couple of hours to get them off along with the mounting tape. The pedals were a bit of a pain as well. Nonetheless, I think everything came out nicely and the interior has some pop.

Everything looks great!! The dash cam you installed…does that also capture video while the vehicle is off/parked or only when the vehicle is running?
