Got some parts back from Dallas Custom Steering Wheel,
Leather work looks top notch, post some pictures when installed. Installed my Numeric shifter and some interior bits this week. I've got another shipment incoming from Exclusive Option & MACarbon to finish up my interior refresh, should have everything after holidays. GT2 buckets on the list for next year (and following NSXavier's lead on taking extremely good care of them)
Got the car back from the tuners after 2 weeks. It has the AMS Alpha 9 turbo kit and since I know little to nothing about it, sent it over to Art of Assembly here in Dallas to smooth out the power curve. After a few touch ups to the tune it's running great! Had them turn the boost down a bit, so 22psi and pushing right at 600whp. I am running stock airbox and exhaust. Guess you could call it a sleeper.
997.2 paddle shift steering wheel and programming
Did the shift boot mod to my tiptronic. I really hate how the stock shifter assembly looks, and feel this really takes the eye away from it. Going to work on that shift **** next. My car was "blessed" with the makassar wood package, so just trying to make the best of it lol.

Hi Mgmarsh39, Can you share with us your shift boot modification. I want to do the same and have read a few thread but I'm still unsure of what to buy and how to go about replacing it. 2nd question is if there's a reason you stay with factory air box and BMC filter instead of some after market intake system. Thx

Absolutely! Fitting the manual shift boot is fairly simple, you just need the following;
997 Manual shift boot with the plastic bracket
I lucked out and found my matching leather boot and bracket on ebay fairly cheap. Just keep your eyes open
P/N 997.424.075.01 XXX (the three x's would be your color. In my case that is FPW for Terracotta)
997 manual shift console trim
ordered mine from Suncoast, link below. Look a couple weeks due to special order.
To install you need to remove the shift ****, then the two leather panels that are beside your radio. I used plastic pry tools but still managed to booger up the edges of my shift ****, so might want to put some painters tape on the painted bits. Not really worried about it as I hope to replace it with something better .
The tiptronic trim just pops up and comes off fairly easy once you have removed those panels. Make sure you put your car in gear as it's easier to pop up with the selector in the middle.
Regarding the stock exhaust/airbox, when I bought my car it came with a Fabspeed intake/exhaust and droned like crazy. I'm daily driving this car and could not stand the noise. It was making 700whp with the fabspeed stuff on it, but honestly not worried about the power. I'm happier with the drivability and may end up doing an aftermarket exhaust down the road.

Thank you for the tip on the tip, lol. By the way do you still have your fabspeed intake? I would take it if you're looking to move it. Thx
Mounted up my LMs, looking forward to the snowy streets to clear in Denver so I can get it out for a drive, recently installed a Numeric SS as well. Was hoping the front would be a bit more flush, think I could use a 7-10mm spacer for flush fitment. just isn't quite there at my ride height, I know the e88 9" ET50 does the trick. Anyone running F spacer on the LM287 19x8.5 ET50?

I run a 7mm spacer front and rear on the 19x12 et44 and 19x8.5 et50. It definitely does the trick if you are lowered and have the proper alignment and camber. Be sure to get screw-in studs too if you go that route. I run 82mm chrome-moly steel MR's with titanium open lugs.

appreciate the quick response, just heard back from contract at supreme and they said 7mm as well. Cheers!
Hopefully you can see how the rear is too here if you decide to go that route.
looks amazing! Appreciate the additional fitment shots. I threw the rear on the 20mm from the previous setup for ****s and giggles, wheees the beef lol!
Hi guys. Last night I went down a wormhole with the new PCCM Plus head unit. Took a very long night to install it due to the fact the new PCCM + unit has one trim color (dark-ish grey / silver) but my dash is all black. Apparently my original spec was PCM leather, so the PCM controls in my car are covered in black leather. First I tried to disassemble the new unit to free up the trim (to properly paint it), but it was wayyy too integrated for my comfort. So, I just taped it up and used a can of Duplicate-Color Vinyl and Fabric Coating in matte black.
We’ll see if it lasts. Unit is amazing vs what I had in there. Lots of fun and worth the effort. Anyway, here are some picts - I hope none of you have to try something like this….
