Nerded out a bit more with this boost gauge. Decided to add the analog meter to the vision gauge. It’s amazing how perfectly this thing fits in our chrono bezels. I’m having a custom gauge surround 3D printed which will blank out the TRUST logo. I’ll paint it silver which should closely resemble a factory chronometer.
I’ll probably wire in a fast response iAT sensor to display on the vision meter.
Very cool. This is a perfect spot for a proper boost gauge. I prefer the less busy display in your previous photo. Is there a way to get rid of the Greddy logo though? May want to post this as a stand-alone thread so more folks see it. If you could provide the frame and it’s reversible without damage to the factory enclosure, there could be quite a bit of interest as we all bemoan the useless factory “gauge.”
got one exciting shipment from Belgium, been dreaming about getting my hands on a set of these since I got the car. cleaned, Colorlouck leather protector & leather shield, and installed. Got a quick drive in before a storm rolled in last night, so snug. Interior is really coming together. couple things to do to the door cards and i'll get it out for some proper photos
The past week and a half I’ve been driving my TT a lot! After 10 months of rough idle and poor performance issues, and visiting different mechanics with no improvement, I performed my first engine-out service to replace fuel injectors and a few other parts. FINALLY, the car is running strong once again and has been a blast to drive. It was all the knowledge sharing and encouragement from members on this forum that helped give me the confidence to tackle such a project. A huge thanks and shout out to the Rennlist community! First time dropping the engine and transmission Engine is back in Back in the garage after a fun drive with the car running great.
Swapped out the 997.1 steering wheel for the 991.2 version with full multi-function. To do this I (i) pulled the steering column to replace a steering control module, and (ii) added a required adapter to the new wheel itself (https://gpsadapter.us) and finally (iii) went to my Porsche dealer to have it coded. After the last step everything works great, including full control of the new PCCM+ unit. Also have PDK paddle shifters now vs the shift buttons on the front of the wheel.

old... new...
Nice job, now you need a leather shift boot with yellow stitching to complete the look.
Where I live, there is still snow everywhere. I was able to finally able to go for a drive this week. Over the winter, I got bored and did this for fun; since my car was murdered, I thought it would match.
