Ditto, but that isn’t saying much. IMO that white/mint car is ugly and I’ve seen it in person during Monterey Car Week. Should have left it with the red livery it came with from Porsche. As a primary color I do much prefer Carrara White over Cream White as Cream is borderline beige and I don’t think a Porsche GT car should be beige. My thoughts aside it’s likely this Cream White .2 RS is a 1 of 1.

For reals - at least one dealer likely took a bath on this one. I'm sure if it got down to mid 100s someone will give it a go but most likely it'll continue to pass from one dealer to another.
Burning Brakes
Magnum (357) sat for sale in Massachusetts in 2019-2020 for over a year and a half @ 157K with no takers. Not sure if there would be any in this market at that price. I guess it just takes the right buyer.

Race Car
The only way I'd take that cream colored car is if it had high contrast everywhere else, even the windows would need to be tinted and I'm not a fan of tinted windows on GT cars. Dark wheels, paint the calipers black, and get rid of any thing else that's silver, which I don't think there's any of that color on them to begin with.
199, 997.2 RS
There is some history of this car on the forums already it seems.

My tired eyes can't tell but did they put the pccbs back on? It had steelies at one point. I dunno -- at that price i think it might actually go fairly quick...history be damned. It seems like it has come back somewhat cosmetically at least from the shape it was in on the Pcarmarket offering some time ago.

Apparently the deck lid and frunk are not OEM parts? ... someone that knows what they are doing just needs to lay eyes on it and drive it. If Grand Prix were smart they would disclose everything they fixed and has been fixed in the "right" way and that thing would move... it's the "mystery" of it all that scares people. I think someone should go in there and offer $185 and call it a day.
Fyi there will be a guards red .1 posted on BaT soon. Hunting ridge motors posted a few pics of the car on instagram.
I think you're spot on. If a dealer shows full transparency and presents the car in a "before and after" way, highlighting the makeover, I think that will broaden the prospective buyer pool. Outside of the engine/ tranny (condition which is unknown) the cosmetic things seem to have been addressed or can be addressed properly with not much effort. Obviously a hassle but if the price is right, it'll be worth it for somebody.
The other issue with this car is that it was claimed to be nearly a full cup car conversion at one point. Not quite sure what that means, but it was definitely extensive and when put back to stock originally they did a half a$$ job. This makes me question what kind of maintenance program it was on during that stint. Would be really interested to see a full PPI, over rev report, etc. To feel really comfortable I would also want the cylinders scoped to check for scoring since there might have been such heavy use.
At $199K the question is whether it is worth it to catch a falling knife in the current economic climate. It is not out of the question that clean cars could hit mid to low 200's in the next year or so. JMO
