Its interesting me how much these cars vary in price, particularly with regard to the mileage. IMO that car is worth 80-82k considering the condition. Unfortunately dealers still are trying for 2-3 years ago prices.
What history does it have? Looks super clean. I think 80K is too low. Manheim lists a sale of an 07 with 16K miles for 95K back in August and it wasn't even a 4+ grade, it was a 3.6. That is wholesale to a dealer obviously. These cars aren't Toyota Camrys and it just takes a while to find the right buyer. i have been shopping for several months and only found my car recently if you have been following my thread on that, but I have to say I missed out on 2-3 cars that were clean with the right specs because they sold. None of them were in the 80s... and I offered good money for them too (90s). That being said, I can see 997.1 with 'higher' miles (30K+) going for high 80s if the seller is motivated. If these cars hit 70s, they will sell for the same money as a 997.1 Turbo tip, and I don't see that ever happening. Even 996GT3 are selling up to 80K if super clean and low miles.

Got to love these stealerships. I remember seeing this one for sale in the SoCal area too. You can't be too obvious when the same cars are listed next to each other.

You're bitching because a dealer wants to make $900 more than the original owner was asking for the car? That's not even 1% more.
Me thinks he got like 85K or less on the trade and tried to sell it on his own first without success for 95K. The dealer is trying to sell it for 95K... good luck. It's wrapped. I would never buy a wrapped car as god only knows what's underneath.
Has anyone seen the orange .1 RS going thru Mecum in LasVegas today? 9k miles...was for sale at a dealer in Canada, and 2 dealers in California.....any history?
Thanks

I'm not bitching about sh*t. Just putting it out there that the same car is listed in 2 different ads. This is useful information for potential buyers.
Im calling BS on this auction. This car has been on ebay at least twice and could barely crack 80K, and on the opening day its at 85? Something stinks there.

haha, I've seen this car on eBay. There's just more traffic on BaT then eBay these days. However, who's not to say it's shill bidders.

I agree that BaT is a better place for a car like this, but those bids are red flags. Likely the seller has reserve around 90 and had some friends put a couple bids on the board.
