Black .2 GT3 with 10k miles on Pcarmarket. PCCB, adaptive sport seats, full leather, and has a Sharkwerks race exhaust (original exhaust included in the sale). $139k original MSRP.
This car even has a lot of rare extra leather options such as the door center panel and seats centers (normally Alcantara, but leather in this car) just to name a couple.

Yea some like the leather option is good because long term they will wear better... personally I like alkantara, the kick panel is the only thing I see that could be an issue, does it have a legit dent on it... can't tell if its reflection.

Yea I'm kinda waiting for my carbon seat alcantara to show wear so I can buy something funky to wrap them with, If I'm pushing the car I cant stop my hands from sweating so I wear gloves... leather steering and shift *** replacements are 1/2 the price of alcantara.

WTB: 997.2 GT3 RS
Hello rennlist community, I'm a new member and multi-year lurker on this thread finally ready to get into a solid, driver-example 997.2 GT3 RS for street and occasional track visits - I'm posting this in case there are owners who don't have their car on the market, but would consider a sale with an easy to work with, cash in hand buyer.
My "Must Haves":
-Up to date maintenance/service with records/documentation
-No accidents
-Not a super low mileage collector-grade/museum piece
My Preferences:
-PREFER a higher mileage, well maintained example
-Especially interested in examples optioned with: carbon buckets, pccb, FAL, welded coolant lines, full clear-bra
-Track time and/or some mods are okay, and paintwork ain’t a bad thing if it's done correctly
Me:
-ready to buy, financials secured
-will ask for a Indy PPI and DME
-loc San Diego CA
-Matt 3oh3 five tow for 72 six1
Thanks!
(Note: I also posted in the marketplace forum)

Best of luck with the search Matt. Sounds like you're being very reasonable on what you're looking for.

curious - are there many want to be buyers that actually expect to find 997 GT3s and GT3 RSs (track cars) that have not been tracked?
i mean, these were relatively obscure back then, so the majority were purchased to be tracked
seems that when "word got out" about Porsche track weapon, everyone that likes/loves P-cars wanted what was deemed "the best"
seems if one wanted a non-tracked GT car, there would be a lot more chances of finding a 991 (they built so many more, and sold many to people that do not track)
FWIW - I have only tracked fleet Porsches at PSDS @ Barber, but I've never expected that any of my purchases had not been tracked.

It's interesting how the pricing looked for 2007. RGT was quite the premium and in USA it was 9k more Euros premium for the RGT.
GT3 114k Euros
GT3RS 135k Euros
Ruf RGT 169k Euros

There are sad cases of ppl like me that bought everything they need years ago for the track and it’s still on the shelf… I’ve been to 4 day school at skip barber and bondurant and never driven my own car. I’d trade whatever the difference someone is willing to pay me for my virgin car to have a few track days…Queue violins

So knowing I could resell those two things on here for $20k…giving me the $170 I was looking for, it gives me just enough of an excuse to keep it
