Wait. What? If you can't comfortably operate the clutch on a 997, and actively dislike its almost perfect, motorsports-derived gearbox, you might not be a sports car kind of guy. I'm teasing, but only a little. The 997 GT3 is absolutely sublime. That's why this thread exists. The newer cars drive themselves.

This. I feel like that's the key to the market. You don't buy a 997 GT3 because you're hunting the fastest lap time or the newest tech . . .

This one looks like it is still available. They are now asking $136k which doesn’t seem totally outrageous in today’s market. Maybe the owner will throw in the removal of all those cheesy cosmetic mods at no charge.

does or doesn’t seem outrageous?
I would say the latter. That’s an awesome spec low mileage car in a relatively rare color. I think that’s a fair asking price.

My bad. Just corrected it. Meant to say doesn’t. Probably the best .2 GT3 currently on the market. But those cosmetic mods would have to go IMO and I think a lot would agree on here.

A beauty but a bit too rich for me.

man, that is a nice one. Great spec, and that price is now fair. It won't last long

Oh my GOD who put those shields on it???? I bet they can't be removed without damaging the paint, otherwise, the dealer would have done it. What were they thinking? I've never seen those on a Porsche. It's wrong on so many levels.

A little steam will have those off in no time without any damage. 👍🏻

Those graphics on the red car are a whole bunch of nothing. Those would come off very easily, unless the is PPF over them but it does not look like it.

Some folks like that stuff and there is nothing wrong with it at all. Now had he drilled and mounted hood badgers there, that would be worth worrying about, but they didn’t so who cares.

Yea I would hope they are double-sided tape, The dealer didn't remove them. If I were trying to sell the car that's the first thing I would do. Back in the day, you would see Ferrari 348's with the stick-on plastic shields. Real nice.

iirc Guard Red was one of the more popular color choices with .2 GT3. >100 were produced in that color.

The pumpkin at Barnaba popped 5k to 155k, not surprised given BAT and the competing one from switch.
