... Oddly enough, another reason {maybe strange &/or silly non-technical reason} I really like CL's, is the amount of extra space at the inner center of the rim (due to no extra meat needed for the 5 lugs), so when I look at the overall style I see SO much more of the rotor & caliper.
It really allows your eye to see past the rim itself, and gain unencumbered access to the viewable brake system behind it. It's my own artistic eye trying to play it's role in the grand scheme.
As I said,... silly. But it puts a smile on my face
We all have our own unique preferences. In support of the .1, I really love the .1 rear bumper (more than the .2). Just a styling preference.
Sorry for the sidebar. I haven't found any new 997 GT's for sale worth posting about. Besides I leave that to JBxstr
=S
Pulled the trigger today with Doug, Daniel, and Thomas at Switchcars on the white 08 GT3 Doug put on this thread earlier this week.
They could not have been nicer to work with. Crazy set of circumstances but they actually delivered it to me in Columbus today (that is not part of their normal service). I put about 50 miles on it today before the rains started moving in.
First impression, It feels very raw compared to my c2s. The Club seats are a pain to get in and out of but I love them (so I don't plan to sell them, before you ask). The PCCB brakes are noticeably better than my c2s. The clutch feels a little heavier and the shifter feels more pronounced (almost like it is gated). It is an amazing car!
Thanks again, Doug, Daniel, and Thomas as well as Bxstr for leading me to Switchcars. All first rate Guys!
congrats! Im in columbus/plain city. Hope to see you out! I rarely attend c and c events but will make some efforts. Drive in good health.
2007 GT3. Listed prior at Lamborghini Dallas with 15k miles (probably around 2012 based on the auto check report that I'm seeing), second link. 27,000 miles. PCCB's, full leather, deviated stitching, rear center console in leather, red gauges. Asking $110k. WP0AC29917S792456.
They posted pictures of it; looks like the previous owner wasn't kind to it. Scratches/dirt all over the interior. Sigh it is beautifully specced.
I don't get why original owner specced this with red dials. Yellow calipers, yellow stitching throughout, you would think yellow gauges make more sense.

Yeah it does clash a little but I love the red dials ha. One of my favorite options and so hard to find on one.

I see the dirt on the floor mats. I do not see scratches. Either way, that may be due to the transport or dealer employees. Not necessarily the previous owner. It's a really great spec.

Only red on the .1. Yellow, red or white on the .2.

Ah it may just be dirt; some of the pictures made it look like there was some wear on the steering wheel, lower trim of the seats and near the shifter but it is hard to tell. On another note, I noticed on the carfax that the car failed 3 emissions tests. That a red flag to you?

I hope to see you around as well. I'm in Upper Arlington. I have not been to cars and coffee all year but I drove through last weekend and it was packed. I was in a hurry as that was when this car was being delivered so I could not stay. I saw what looked to be a yellow GT3. Was that you? Wish I had more time then to check it out.

Not at all. Probably the readiness systems on the car from not being driven or a battery disconnect. Passed recently too.
I’m trying to dig up some recent changes to Troy’s (GlockGuru) old car. A lot of love into it then, but now? It’s at CNC and I’ve seen the changes from the time it was at SF Motorsports. Any info or eyes on it? Yeah, I’m seriously looking at it as strippers are my thing.
