You can't. Every seller will say "its perfect underneath..." "my wrap installer is the best in the world and never uses knives..." etc. but I think you have to assume at a *minimum* a major paint correction and living with a few knife cuts in the clear coat.

 

I don't know when I became such a leather snob, but no full leather started to become a major turn off. Maybe after I owned two full leather cars (current 6gt3 and Boxster) I realized how much better it felt. Now I'm a spoiled brat...

The driving video of the 7.2 RS on BaT is music to my ears.

 

Looks like someone is having fun with it. This is a higher milage one currently on the market (by no means HIGH mileage) . Will be interesting to watch this auction to see where the current market is for anyone with a lower mileage one in the mood to drive it a bunch. I tried to purchase a 2011 (Grey/Red) .2RS last week with 28k miles and someone beat me to it at 138K.

 

He "cheats" by placing the mic at the intake so none of the cars he sells sound like that in the driver seat nor to the outside. Never saw the point in doing that but the BaT peanut gallery seems to be lapping it up and it seems to be selling his cars well.

 

He does sell some pretty nice cars. You can tell the mic is in the engine bay. Yep, is sounds great on video.

Sold on BaT for $97.5 before fees last year to Signature Motors. Should be commentary in this thread from the auction. Signature Motors then posted it on Rennlist right after at a higher price after putting a bit into the car.

Pretty sure this is your car. I looked at it many years ago (2012/2013?) in CT when I had my 2007 GT3 and was considering a trade. I think they were asking $115k at the time and it had 16k miles on it which was high miles at that time. I should have bought it, but back then the $30k difference seemed a bit high as the miles were double of my 07 GT3. "Regular" GT3s were going for around $80k then. Obviously I should have traded up!
