The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...
Picked up this beautiful driver at the beginning of this month from a friend and absolute legend of a human being. Part of the deal was I had to fly out and drive some amazing roads that socal has to offer. He gave me a awesome loop through some of the socal canyons, had a rest and a slice of pie, and then more mountain roads. Took a trip up to Costa Mesa and Newport for some hangs with more friends, then drove the car back down south and shipped her off to the east coast.
Only thing in the plans for this car is to be driven and enjoyed.

For those looking, I am thinking about selling my 2007 GT3. VIN is WP0AC29907S792495. For astute followers of this thread, it was for sale last fall with Doug at Switchcars. I bought it as a last hurrah before the arrival of my 3rd child, hoping it would make sense to keep it even with 3 kids. Well, now that kid is here and I find that I barely have time to sleep or shower, and seriously considering whether it makes sense to take up a spot in the garage for a car I won't be driving for a few years. Still in 'feeler' stages, will probably regret selling this, hence the hesitation I'm sure all the owners have felt when thinking about selling.

I would normally say no to a black GT3 as these cars sit so low to the ground and can get peppered real fast. I'd say super no to one with 75,000 miles on it but this one has me eating those words. Those PCCB's look amazing and the paint is well, it looks like a car with 10,000 miles.

Something very sinister about a black 997.1 GT3, I prefer it over white!

I was initially confused too. But my (non expert) interpretation is that somebody revved into range 2 (also hitting range 1) one single, very brief moment, and then the car has continued on in its happy existence. Ready for you to purchase worry free since it happened a while ago!
