NVM, if it's the one I'm thinking it is it's just gray/black but w/o red, decals may be on the car but are not red.

just checked car fax, lots of service likely due to track/DE. has cage, exhaust, steel rotors, suspension work. haven't seen DME yet.

With those details I definitely know who owned it.... True Porsche collectors and both (H+W) I believe are PCA instructors (and help run the PNW PCA) so don't be scared off by the track time (but agree on the price comment). I didn't know the theft was from a dealer's lot, but after recovered it had a DME and came back clean FWIW.
Thanks for the info. Track doesn’t bother me. Just want a well cared car. These cars should be on a track. Will keep in touch with dealer. Hopefully they can gather the factory parts.
How about a reality check here: The freaking car was STOLEN. And missing for 3 days. I don't care what the DME says, the car could have been beaten on for those 3 days. I know if i had stolen it i would have driven the **** out of it with no cares in the world. I would not touch it without a big time discount. Just my opinion.................................

How can it have the "****" driven out of it, yet not show up on the DME?
I know the car, it is cared for by one of the best shops on the west coast, and the owners take great care of their stuff. If I was in the market it's the one I would want
As it said, it's just my opinion. i'm not trying to convince anyone else. I would not touch it. It's sort of like (but worse) then buying a car that has had 4 or 5 owners. the buyer really has no idea what that car has been through.
some might be comfortable 'loaning' their car out to some car thieves for a few days but i'm not.
lots of other options now or in the future for a nice, sano RS if that is what someone is after.
here are some snaps of that car in WA. looks very clean, waiting to hear back if they have some of the stock parts with the car but was told DME is clean. looks like a well loved car. not sure about paint or love taps, will investigate. might make a move if so.
those are two different cars, the BAT car is PTS black whereas the WA car is Grey-black.
Love this Grey/Black car. How many miles? What's the asking? I just bought my grey/black 3 months ago. I would have probably bought this one over mine because I like the black accent rather than the red mine has. Good luck! Love the car by the way. I originally bought it to drive for a few months until my new 3RS arrives. I'm now keeping it (don't tell my wife).
