range 1 is nothing! 160 is a good place to start without CPO.

 

I doubt a Socal dealer would even respond to an offer $20k less than their asking price, but can't hurt to try.

The Plano Car seems like the winner in this equation if everything checks out.

 

Plano car has stage 3 over revs (over 50 hours ago). Also has a welded-in roll bar. And keep in mind that they advertise themselves as a one-price shop, so bartering is an exercise in futility I would assume.

There's a similarly specced 4k mile RS in the classifieds for $168k or so. I think that would be the best bet.

 

2-year warranty at any Porsche dealer. Should cost the dealer roughly $3k plus cost of any needed corrections.

 

 

A Knoxville friend of mine traded this Black 2010 GT3 for a Lambo Huracan to Lamborghini Palm Beach Fl. No affiliation but this car was well maintained, never tracked, 2 owners, about 9000 miles. For those on the hunt you might look it over.
They have it listed at $129K (pic at local C& C).

 

So the 997.2 GT3RS that is listed in the classifieds is sold. So not an option. I have pretty much narrowed it to two cars. The one in CA is about $35-40k cheaper (based on current negotiations), but more miles and no ceramics (which I wanted). The one in CA is not CPO either. Is the other one with lower miles, brakes and CPO really worth $35-40k more? I'm a guy who will drive it 1-2 k miles a year (I have several cars which cut time). Probably not a forever investor either. Like anyone, I want to lose the least amount of money though. Just wondering if the higher miles and brakes are a big killer on resale mainly.
