shame indeed! I’m going to lay low for a while and save up for the RS. I’m figuring I will get more for it now before it hits the big 5-0 and mentally I’m ready to sell even though I absolutely love the platform. No doubt I’ll be getting into the same with better specs or RS, next. As @Wonderdan put it, I don’t believe this is a dead man’s car

Well classic.com has it going up in December and I am wondering what do you guys think it’s going to sell for?

also, wondering if all that white skirting on the side is factory OEM or did someone paint it? Whatever the cases I’m not a fan as it makes the side script look too high up on the side of the car.

Rocker and front lip paint is OEM. I have a hard time believing it’s going to sell for $350-450k. I’d guess between $300-325k, but I’ve been wrong before and am totally guessing.

That’s true. It’s sort of uncharted territory. Don’t think we’ve seen a .1RS with such low mileage come up for sale publicly. So maybe $350-400k is right. Likely will depend who’s in the room.

Very true! I'll bet the word is out though and some heavy hitters will be at the White Collection's Sotheby's Auction. I'm sure phone calls have been made and buyer are already lined up. Wondering if it's possible to view it live?

Just took a look at the White Collection auction. Sothebys states these cars "represent over a decade of dedicated collecting"

Why was I thinking this amazing collection was a lifetime labor of love, an porsche enthusiast who loved these cars and was now parting with his babies? Kind of a bummer
