crazy how it's a white .1, the most common GT car of the bunch. It had what looked to be a DIY matte black painted center console, a non GT3 steering wheel with a GT3 airbag and steel brakes. A tattered front and rear bumper and even the wheels look like a Krylon rattle can job and uneven lips from sanding out curb rash. This is an IMO. Honestly, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that they even look plastidipped.

Man, you have a good eye! Those are all signs of lipstick on a pig ... good enough for the BaT connoisseurs i guess!

thats a bit harsh. The car was presented fairly a driver. I don’t think anyone expected cosmetic perfection. Dings, scratches, curb rash, etc are just what happens when you use a car regularly. Signs of use does not equal signs of abuse.

It's about the quick/superficial/cheap cosmetic repairs that were not disclosed and which most people are unlikely to notice in the pictures (RAudi not included). No one is expecting a cream puff garage queen (hopefully) with this car, but you can't tell me that's a quality wheel repair on those wheels. I would definitely expect the wheels to be in better condition at the price that was paid, at a minimum (leaving bumpers and other stuff aside as those were either clearly visible or disclosed).
Also, while the focus was on the lack of over revs to juice up the bids, post #16816 in this thread shows this car was modified quite extensively, and i don't believe any of that was disclosed in the auction, even though the seller clearly knew about it. But yeah, awesome sale and the buyer is guaranteed to be delighted! Hope the next one goes for $250K!

These cars are becoming very rare in the for sale market. Most owners are keeping these forever. They will just keep going up no matter what. In a few year you will be kicking yourself in the rear for not grabbing one at $150k.
