The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...

Company in France called Rosepassion that sells it for 484.47 euro including shipping Fedex to the USA all-in. It ended up at $513 delivered for the actual GT3 part.
Rosepassion
If I bought at Suncoast it would be $595 plus 9.5% tax. I need it like a hole in the head, and there are companies that recover the original Alcantara. But you know how this stuff goes.
Sorry I got this thread sideways guys
Do the GT3 ***** feel any different from the non-GT ones? Heavier weight, nicer material maybe?
My sand beige **** is getting pretty tired, bought one of those CGT wood replica ***** to replace it but not really loving it. Really surprising how light the shift ***** for these cars are compared to, for example, my ND2 Miata's. Shame the 992 ***** don't work for our cars, I feel like they really nailed the design on those.

Def suggest heavy *****. The stock shifter feels is just meh.
Guys if you clean the alcantara shift **** and even the wheel with Sonax, brush them, then use a Colourlock sand pad, the alcantara is revived and looks near new again.
Don't be afraid to sand the alcantara it works great. Lots of youtube vids on this, it really works. No need to buy a new shift ****

Kevin that number Joe posted is for the non Gt shifter. It's only $274.32 + $22.40 s/h = $296.72.

Yeah I paid an extra $189 for the correct one with the right cap. It's just a spare In case I need it. I do use Sonax and a stiff brush on my steering wheel and shifter. Works great. Never used that sandpaper...hmmm?
My plan is that if the replacement **** goes out of production like the bucket seats did, I can put it up on BAT and retire from the profit I make.

Here's what I'm noticing on this one:
Overall looks like a nice car. Curious to see where this one goes.
As an owner, it's great to see values go up, especially as I continue to put miles on mine. About to head out in an hour for a drive with a friend. The downside, truly, is that people that were looking to get into these two years ago are still priced out of the market. On all of these specialty cars, it also means that it's harder for us to try new things. For instance, as 987 Spyder values go up, it's harder to justify buying something like that. But luckily, I've truly gotten to the point where I don't have a desire for another or a different car. The 997 GT3 being my one and only sports car is all I need and I'm very content with that. Going to keep driving, enjoying and maintaining, spending time with the great community that surrounds it and then putting time into other things.
Here's what I'm noticing on this one:
- Peppering on front bumper and windshield. Has clear bra, so my guess is the peppering is under the film. Normal peppering on rockers and rear quarter.
- Cracked front lip, as expected. $400 from various online retailers.
- Grille screens.
- Radar detector hardwire.
- Interior mirror trim needs to be slid down, I think. There's some exposed wiring in pic 35 and 36.
- As mentioned, I'd be replacing that steering wheel with a fresh one. Would make a big difference since the interior is so nice. May as well do shift **** too since that is a GT3 specific part and will likely eventually become no longer available.
- Radio delete shelf (originally came with PCM 2.1) - I'm one of the people that really values the PCCM+ in mine, so I'd be installing that back in. It's so nice getting lost on a backroad and then navigating back home a couple hours later.
- Pics 176 and 177 seem to show a cut in the carpet for a previously installed rollbar.
- Missing front trunk battery cover trim clip
- Sharkwerks bypass
- Ohlins suspension - has a couple other suspension mods listed in pics 230 and 231
- Approx 32mph average DME speed, which is normal
Overall looks like a nice car. Curious to see where this one goes.

My .1 had zero in all ranges. I drove that thing like a bat out of hell. Bounced that rpm needle till fuel cutoff many times and never registered even one range 1. It's not unusual.
