So you're aware how your original comment calling it basically a used cup car is ridiculous too?

In case anyone was curious what happened to the PTS Cream White .2 RS that was at RFM for $575k it was bought by this big 997 collector on Instagram. He has multiple 997 Turbo’s, a 997 GT2, a PTS Pastel Orange .2 GT3 (the one that sold for peanuts on BaT and from this thread), and now this car. Pretty much all of them gotten through RFM. Here is the link to the guys account.

this is the GTVault car that Doug tore up. Been around forever. Guess his original price is not looking bad now.

There are a few things that I see haven't been addressed:

1. Those little wind deflectors that reside under the front bumper are missing. Funny as AG painted that bumper prior to listing it. Wonder if they even realized that little deflectors go in those square holes under the front bumper.

2. The steering wheel is not from a GT3, the air bag is.

3. A few pictures of what look to be some sort of front spoiler that doesn't wrap around the entire front end or who knows.....it's painted white and not a GT3 spoiler.

Past owner, had some things I found to be well.... different. Oil Choices, front spoiler in white and not GT3, complaints about ride quality and alignment specs he wanted. Maybe just wanted to cruise down to highway.
I'd buy it specifically to do a Sharkwerks 3.9 with suspension goodies and a carbon RS wing. I'd imagine a few are thinking the same.

The BAT connoisseurs are getting all moist already though, so it'll be interesting to see what it sells for.
The seller 911R has the best photographer/photoshop expert on BAT. I could never buy a car from him based on the pictures in his listings. He could make ME look good.

speaking of… what was wrong with this RS again?

https://brooklynautoonline.com/vdp/1...oklyn-NY-11218

Out of all the stuff out there I just feel like it’s priced close?

I get it’s not per its build sheet, leather interior, carbon shifter, tail lights, radio, center console, pccb… but expensive ones? The range 5s were a while ago and it’s physically clean so seems like a SW 4.1 would solve any anxiety around the engine.

Unfortunately I don't know but it sure is a very nice looking example.
I personally would not be able to stretch to that level of dollars for it and I don't track enough to justify an RS.
I have been a passenger in them plenty of times though, they are amazing machines.

If you look at the example Money2536 is restoring, he said he paid $260 for that and it doesn’t have a clean set of CCB. So minus the PCCB on the build sheet its not that much more desirable imo as mileage is similar. This one has leather but it’s a mod… not sure why he prob spent thousands doing that and on an RS that’s no biggy to me.

I’m not saying it should be the same price, but that $40k delta you pretty close to a SW4.1

grey w/white are pretty cool
