It sounds like the reserve was more $85-90k.

In all seriousness my point was never to say that there are numerous 997.1 GT3s LISTED for <80k. My point is, that's where they are being valued by the free market.

Nice clean mk1 7 3 in white at The Exchange in highland park IL. Saw it and it looked really nice. Sorry don't know the miles or price off top of my head.
