I just called about this car and since it's newly on consignment, the broker didn't have many details yet on service, condition, history, etc. But he mentioned that the owner is a collector and only buys cars that are perfect. I asked about getting back some basics like DME, carfax, and whether FAL is functional. Will report back if I hear anything. I just realized too that it doesn't have PCM, I wasn't even aware that it was an option to get a regular non-PCM system.

Did you buy the one at McKenna? That one looked like a nice car and well priced too. I bought a 2008 Meteor Grey GT3 two weeks ago - really is an amazing car! Best of the prior 6 Porsches I've owned. Enjoy your car!

Anyone know what this traded hands for? Was kind of surprised to see it listed at 120k and go so quickly seeing as it didn't have buckets

I've been looking at quite a few GT3s and noticed that while most had gloss black 'lipstick' some were matte black. I assumed OEM was gloss black but saw it more than once. I couldn't tell if it was a wrap and the sales person didn't know.
Was the OEM 'lipstick' gloss or matte finish from the factory?

Thank you @ZombieBranz and @Stjoh!! I love Speed Yellow.
So far I had only owned kind of below the radar / boring colors cars (e.g. Agate Gray, Silver, White, Black) good for DD, but for the GT3, which will be my week-end car, I absolutely wanted either Yellow or Green!

BTW does anybody have a production info by color of the 997.1 GT3?

Asked this a few times without response. Hopefully, someone on here can chime in. Anyone know if owners could spec wheel/decal/stripe colors to be anything they wanted as a CXX option on a non PTS 997.2 GT3 RS? Or were the stripe colors limited on non PTS cars? Every so often one pops up that surprises me and I'm not sure if they're factory decals.
EDIT: Here's an extreme example. Not sure if this was factory or not though
