Ending your auction late Friday afternoon also doesn't help.
I don't think Sellers have much control on when they go live on BAT... From what i've heard, you submit a car, they approve it, often with a mandate on acceptable reserve price, you approve it, and then it's up on their site, sometimes right away, sometimes not.
Bid up to 76k. Did not meet reserve. Not surprising, I think this will become the new norm. 996/997 GT3s were due for a correction.
I respectfully disagree. One data point does not set the market. This appeared to be a well-used example and most potential buyers probably wanted more information before plunking down the cash sight unseen. I didn't bid for that exact reason.
The clean examples always pull the right money.

I have photos of this car. No DME Report or anything. Seems to be in decent condition but I am not willing to roll the dice on something like that without a background on the car.

You make a living working in this market, so its fair to assume you know more than me, but I have been following this market very closely for the past couple of years, and when considering RL, BAT, Autotrader, Cargurus, and all the various for sale listings that have been getting stale at prices from 3 years ago, its pretty clear the market has been softening and will probably continue to do so. This one sale is not the only data point, its just one of many data points.
