The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...
A suggestion: decide if you want to sell (or buy!) first, and then entertain (or make) offers

Tire kicking works both ways… so I would assume any listing with “very little effort” has risk.
IMO the deals to be had for these cars are less about price and more related to buying a good car from someone who cared for it… so if the price is ‘really good’, there is a reason
Frequent forum guys have so much more into their cars, it’s sometimes hard to see the love and random refreshed parts that add up
read post history on a buyer… you can see every bolt I’ve fixed if you dig deep, we are reasonable and an open book but we usually don’t leave money on the table

The outreach I've received so far has been very courteous and professional, which is definitely the norm for this group. Its a nice change of pace from some of the drama in other parts of Rennlist.
Anyone here selling a .1 GT3 with sub 40k miles? Eyeing the one on BaT but would prefer to buy from a private seller who has some history with the car. There are a couple on Autotrader that fit the budget but have 7-9 owners which is a turn off

I wouldn’t worry about 7-9 owners depending on how many miles someone owned it. For instance sometimes I may buy a car own it for 3 month, or even 3 years and then realize I never drove it. Now on a civic with 50k miles , yes. But not a gt3, usually 3 owners will happen in the first two years alone.

I recently purchased and I did care about number of owners. I think there are a lot of dealers out there that say that number of owners isn't important to buyers of these cars, but I think there are plenty of buyers who will pay more for a car with 1 or 2 owners. We are talking about cars that people don't want to buy new if they have too many test drive miles!
