The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...

When purchasing my TT, PCCBs were a deciding factor for me (the other two was manual and an ‘09). It is nice not having the dust but sometimes while in traffic the brake noise gets a bit much for me. For the TT, I can see a resale difference of maybe a few thousand dollars higher for PCCB compared to steel, but the $30k difference between these two cars just seems drastic to me. Certainly the 2010 has a few more options but might be priced a bit high.

Hmmm…makes me wonder why my PCCBs make some noise and yours don’t. I’ve got plenty of life left in the pads and rotors. I will say, I do like the stopping power and the lack of dust. If I had to choose, I would definitely pick PCCB over steel. I think my problem is that I don’t believe that particular 2010 is worth $200k but then I also wonder if the 2011 is priced too high as well…

This car has has paintwork. It's also a very low option car with no PCM, just a regular radio. Was for sale for a while at Florida Performance Cars. It's a big pass and even bigger pass since it's at Grand Prix Motors. We don't buy from Grand Prix, EVERRRRRRR! Doug disclosed some history about this car in this thread POST #6027
I was trying to be too nice about Grand Prix by just saying to google the vin and look at the history in the post I linked. I’d agree with what the others said, I’d stay away from Grand Pri. Not saying they don’t get nice cars in from time to time, but I’d stay away from them on principal alone. When buying a 997 GT3, or any car, buying the seller is so important.

I greatly appreciate the offer! I think it’s priced a bit high so I’m going to pass and keep an eye on the market to see what else pops up. Very kind of you though!

It's just an advertised price, and dealers set them artificially high anyway. If you like that one, go in and offer something more in line with reality. That car will sell closer to 160-170. E.g.: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...he-911-gt3-50/

Might be worth chiming in and throwing them an offer a few thousand under the amount that you'd feel comfortable paying for a certain car. Whatever you do, don't waste your time with Grand Prix.

Many cars don't sell for asking price, especially when they've been sitting on the lot for a while. This is something that no dealer ever wats to admit. They will always say, "We got our price".

Well those receipts take all the guess work we all had on how much a 4.1 would cost… that “might as well” list is nuts.
Will be curious to see how much premium it drives, my guess is less than the $110,000 he paid
btw this car would sell in 30 seconds if located in the US…
