^ Looks much better with the original wheels and seats.

Don’t know if the original seats and wheels come with the car. Since there are no photos of them I assume they don’t. Not a huge fan of the personalization bits the previous owner did.

The only thing that really bothers me is the yellow calipers, big fail by the PO.

But the Yellow Calipers arn't OEM build, so the wheels and calipers can easily put back to stock, I think the seats are the biggest risk of not finding easily... wheels pop up here a few times a year so I wouldn't be worried.

Redoing calipers is a time consuming process and renders the car useless while its being done. Its much more of a PITA than wheels or seats to swap was my point there, should have clarified.

I was pissed at the time, until the value of the car started to go up $2500 a month. I was so annoyed I had to bounce it off you guys.
This is the time you email the dentist and ask if he'd be interested in buying his old car back, window sticker included. That will surely get his goat! Better yet a phone call so you can hear him cringe about the appreciation it's enjoyed.

Steels/sofas, but car looks brand new.

I have had 2 inquiries (local to me).

Thanks in advance.
If it's your car you're selling then no $225k is not too much. If your'e buying then yes, it's a bit high.

The car is poorly represented as-is IMO. The seller had plenty of time to put the calipers back to stock/red and source some OEM wheels and seats. It's not that time consuming to R&R and powdercoat calipers.

Just LOL at putting together a bunch of hype videos with PTS wall art and all the other b.s. and not spend the money on the actual car to make sure it's 100% when you run it at auction. Should still bring big money but imagine if the car was perfectly represented with all the correct OEM parts back on. Nonetheless, for someone looking to buy a PeeTS 997 GT3, chances of finding a better one are slim.

edit: wow - those seats are atrocious.

A close friend of mine lives in Houston and visited the selling dealers shop recently. He said for having 14k miles, the car was in rough shape.

I was so excited to look over this PTS 997.2 GT3 tonight on the bringatrailer link. When I opened the link however, I was immediately turned off by the wheels and personalization touches. It's just too much. Such a shame as I really want a blue 997.2 GT3.

Then you must not really want a blue 997.2 GT3 that bad if you’re turned off by the aftermarket wheels that the car has on it. Possibly the easiest thing to swap back to OEM.

And I noted other personalization touches. Read my post for comprehension.

Maybe I just don't want to deal with changing it back.

I'm with you. PTS 997.2 GT3s are a dime a dozen. Hold out for the next one.
