My 997 GT2 Track Build
#62
I choose 19 rather than 18 because in my part of the world I cant source good tires, thus I have to order everytime so savings wouldnt be much. In tire selection yes there are more options but I'd rather stick to 19 which is the oem size and not to alter the handling of the car and imo I think 19's are the new 18's in the near future.

Update- Decided to cancel the bbs as I wanted to run them without spacers. I will be going with stock rims and will order the bbs e88 later.
The car is still at the dealer getting the brake pads, lines and fluid changed then suspension parts after that.
Will post pics of the suspension after they get installed and also the roll bar which is already installed. Then after that will give driving impressions on the street before taking it to the track.

I just came back from the dealer and all the suspension parts, brake pads, lines etc have been installed. They are in the middle of the alignment but I have a problem, Porsche measures toe in degress and I have them in mm. I searched but couldnt find how to convert mm to degrees or minutes. Can anyone help me in that matter please. Toe in mm to be converted is below;
Front : 2mm out (1mm per side)
Rear : 4mm in (2mm per side)
Thanks

This is exaclty the same im running in the rears 25 degrees on each side total .50 toe in the rear..
2mm on each side would equal to .40 total toe in i.e 20 degrees on each side..

For me and other track alignments that much front toe is a little much. Most run either zero toe to around .5mm out per side.... 2mm in per side is the max toe that has been suggested to me for a 997 car.
