Thanks, the Hazet trolly holds all the Porsche specific tools. The Wera stuff is all I buy for the shop now (not auto related). I buy most from kctool.com

Driven 15-50 hmm. Will have to look into that oil.
Quick question... If one car had to go which one would it be? The .1 or the .2? I would normally say the .1 but it's got that engine in it so it's gotta be a hard call.
The .1 3.9 screams and keeps asking for more, Bilstein clubsport coilovers, all the suspension bits, corner balanced.
The .2 is the pampered child, bone stock so it does not really comparable. .2 wins for the interior feel and comfort.

I'm a little bummed Sharkwerks no longer does 3.9s. 4.1s are absolutely batty but I'd probably lean towards the higher redline and slightly lower torque of the 3.9 as it just seems to better fit the character of the car to me. Never driven either though so my gut impression means next to nothing
It is a treat, as one well known journalist notes the high revving character of the 3.9 is reminiscent of the CGT, I agree.

This was the last hoorah 'special' 3.9 built and has all of the 4.1 components minus the crank.

Your gut is in line with Alex. When I owned my 3.9, I spoke to him about which he preferred. He picked the frog 3.9, for the revvy nature esp in the higher rpm range. It was noticeably faster of course, but from 6000 - 8800, it pulled like freight train and did not let up.
