Default What did you do to your GT car today!

Figured since there isn’t one here, may as well start one. I realize that several of the members have a personal build thread but this can serve as a dumping ground for work and mods done to our cars for those that don’t have such thread and still want to share.

Hopefully this thread will get some Traction.

I’ll start. Installed @Silverlake Projects titanium studs and nuts. Studs PVD coated black and nuts coated gold. Did this to help with wheel mount and dismount and looks. I didn’t realize that it would make the car so much faster and handle way way better. A night and day difference.

The car was in the garage and lighting wasn’t the best this am. I’ll replace the pictures later this afternoon along with an install procedure.

Picked up my new to me .2 and drove it 8 hours home. It’s almost too nice (picked it up with 13k miles and change) but I’ll certainly be adding quite a bit to that. Really lucked out on an off market example with my near perfect spec from a great seller. Better to be lucky than good as they say!

Will be installing my buckets and have new inserts on the way. Unfortunately I don’t have the space to keep my .1 as well (though I’m tempted) and I’ll be officially listing it for sale in the next week or so.

I like this thread. Lots of builds and journals out there. This a good dump for random/fun projects.

Will get these on asap !

Set an appointment for new rotors and pads, front and back, lol. Next is fresh PPF all over. I keep putting that off because I don't want to be unable to drive. But, being out of town for a week forces me to.

Refreshing the set of 18" Forgelines and getting fresh tires of that will be next.

You should take a few before pictures so you can post up the difference. That's a nice amount of work, which has got to be exciting.

Congrats! Is the new roommate the Z3 or the Cayenne? How do you like either one?

19" black Forglines off and 18 inchers on...for 3 days then back to the black ones for a road trip. Love them both, hard to choose. But, if I can actually find road-bias tires for the 18's, I'll run those for a while. Thiccccc rubber man, can't beat it.

Yeah, the tire was annoying, it was low when I brought it home, I run a dealer so not a big deal to get it fixed.

The Cayenne was the addition for my wife, she likes it and that's all that matters.

M coupe is my long time garage queen, owned it for about 12 years now

Not sure where to post this gem. But, since I saw it while doing things for my car, I guess it works here?

I never knew there was one in this color.
