yea it also saves me a truckload of time when I want to swap the steele rotors back on… these are surprisingly awkward to torque when replaced

Are you having Hub Cap Annies do the wheels? Or did you find someone else to ship them off to?

Swapped on a GT wheel - exchanged a few bits like the spoke trim, and will likely rewrap with yellow 12 o’clock marker. Easy install - would be helpful to have another set of hands to hold wheel while torquing. For those doing this in the future, after plugging battery back in and turning the car on, traction control malfunction error popped, but quickly reset itself after driving the car for 5-10 minutes.

Sweet! I had an '87 GT convertible in college. It was stolen when I went to visit my girlfriend at a different school. Cops found it 2 days later stripped and up on blocks in downtown Hartford, CT. She was sent to the crusher after that.

I noticed my sills have some road rash and decided to halt the damage with these TLG flaps

I will look to have the sills addressed over the winter but for now, I just want to drive it. Not the time to have it tied up in a shop

thats a cool idea,... looks like the stock screw hole position for the lower screw too.

But the upper one requires screwing a new hole into the plastic fender liner, correct?
..... hmmm, that part might freak me out enough not to install the upper screw. Wonder if it would hold with only the lower one.

Did you order them through Kies?

... upside is that it also looks to be an easy quick removal (if for example, you didn't want them for a C&C)

yea, got them through Kies.

It uses the original Fender hole but yes, you need to screw in to the original fender liner, with a self tapper, for the other hole. It’s a tiny tiny hole but it’s needed to stop the liner from rotating

I can’t see myself removing them, they look clean and unnoticeable honestly and clearly there should have been some protection there from the factory as those sills take a beating

The most noticeable part is the rusty original torx head, I’ll have to swap that out for fresh ones

I’d recommend!
