I've been meaning to raise the front end a bit and finally got around to it. Trouble is the aluminum adjustment collars are seized against the steel shock bodies, on both corners. My PB Blaster and Longacre wrench failed. Now I'm waiting for Kroil and a bigger wrench to arrive...
When the collars are stuck, I normally place the spanner wrench on them and give the wrench a sharp whack with a hammer. That normally breaks them loose. Soaking the collars with Aerokroil or similar helps. Good luck..

I hate that style adjustable collar. The Ohlins kit on my Model Y has them and they were slipping once any load was applied. MCS has the best style IMO with the bores around the entire circumference of the adjuster

Yeah, I tried that, it didn't work on this car. The collars are also very soft, unlike the ones I've adjusted on Ferraris of the same vintage. So whacking them only damages them.
Installed the Cantrell lowering brackets on my buckets. Just did the driver’s side for now and did the middle hole in the front and lowest hole in the rear to give them a bit of tilt. Made a much bigger difference in feel than the numbers might suggest. With the slight tilt I no longer feel like I’m nearly about to tip forward like I was with the stock mounts. Will probably have to do the passenger side next. Can sort of see the height difference here, especially if you look at the bottom of the cut outs:

I think that's them but it's hard to tell with them being positioned vertically like that in the picture. I ordered mine from Tarett (who sources them from Cantrell): https://tarett.com/collections/seats...987-997-cm-slb
Ouch. Jeez. I'm just a guy solving problems over here. It's a simple solution to a common problem. Not genius for sure. Cages are seamlessly integrated to the base plate. My 964 had no holders so I tried the rest and didn't like them. Made my own. Helping others.
C'mon, man. Our cars have cupholders, and it's not like you *just* fashioned these and installed in your GT car and decided to share the idea with us. This is just blatant advertising of a product you sell and have sold for a while, and that's not what this thread is about.

I reported him and he's gone. Helping others? He's helping himself to free advertising. All his history posts are of this stupid cupholder. In one thread he states an acquaintance then the following thread it's his design. GTFOutta here!
