Question about your akra set up. I see a valve on there but it looks like you have the block off plate. Does the valve still work and make the exhaust quieter?

So, what I have blocked off are actually the outlets for the side mufflers that come with the kit. I didn’t install them, but instead fashioned those caps. The valves sit inline of the elbows and run straight into center muffler rather than side mufflers. So they are still fully functional and do make the exhaust much quieter. Although I leave the PSE unit unplugged because I prefer it that way. Nice to still have the option though.

Oh, definitely not. That’s my mechanic’s spot. But he and I will do pinning and new coolant lines, water pump, front and rear main, etc., while gearbox goes to Copans for 3.8 R+P and Guard diff install.
