@cajerseyboy HRE 305s? I was actually looking at those, and was even speaking to Alex about them! Haha, please post your pics once mounted in the aftermarket wheel thread! Would love to see how it turned out.

That’s great to hear. I have Daniel doing a CF console for my 996 — it should be here by the end the month.

FWIW, MACarbon is the only company I’ve found that can do the 997 CF dash trim stripes correctly. OEM pieces have the CF arranged in a diamond pattern vs. square, and then the appropriate silk screened icon (cup holder, RS, etc.) DBCarbon doesn’t silk screen.

Funny, that is an upcoming project to go back to a flat US driver side mirror. I dont drive the car frequently enough to get used to it. After a few days I do (rental cars in Europe have shown me this), but again, just dont drive the RS enough to adjust.

Why is the trim piece on your steering wheel black? I thought OEM all had that fake aluminum color on the trim that matches the glovebox handle.

Thats just how the 11’ RS wheel looks… also this one is a thick “CLA” optioned car. The 2010 was alum paint as you said and the 2011 4.0 was actually aluminum. You'll also notice is all one piece, unlike the aluminum which are removable inserts.

It must be because of the Thick wheel option. The rest of them came with the silver trim.
