Hahaha the ultimate drone eliminator. Don’t change the exhaust. Just drive flat out and always stay above 5k

Got coating done. A bit too much work to do it myself; got a shop to do it instead

Seems like the previous owner never had coating done … plenty of swirls. Anyway, car looking fresh after

Continued the take apart and clean process after prior owners sloppy shops doing sub par work. Got super excited for all of 30 seconds until i realized the first owner ( who was a track rat ) took off the bumperette blocks for weight savings and it wasn’t the euro crash bar.

installed the rss mounts. As expected they are great. Had a proper alignment after needing new wheel bearings. night and day difference. Even the wife noticed the improvement in vibrations after they were replaced. And of course went for a nice Sunday drive.

Had my dad visit so had to take him out for a long drive. Took in some amazing roads and the old man can still row through the gears

Went for a drive last after freshly installed Ohlins Road & Track. The car now has full RSS kit and Ohlins. It feels phenomenal!

Oh man. Would love a full report here. That's the setup I'm building to on both my cars.

He even removed the rear deck stickers. Wow, he was really looking to save weight, jk

You should source them and stick 'em back on.

Looks like you need some new stickers!

The mobile 1 sticker is 997 006 554 00(double check this) the 2010 EPA sticker is 997 006 109 76 and the 2011 EPA is 997 006 109 93

LOL, without the stickers it's just a Getty or Wicked Motorsports rear deck.

I’ve been driving the car the past few days. Did a 3 hour round trip today. I’m very impressed by how much of an improvement the Ohlins made. Night and day difference with how composed the car feels when cornering now. Can confidently carry way more speed. A nice benefit as well is that the car feels less harsh in the bumps.

Installed DSC Controller. This is the 3rd time buying it — previously had one in a 987.1 and still have it in my 981 GT4.

Keeping the stock unit just in case

Oh man, you're right. I had RSS engine mounts installed and didn't even think about the improved vibrations until you mentioned it.

Took the car up to Laguna Seca for the weekend. Coming from a 996 turbo I still cannot get over how much of an absolute joy this car is on the track.
