Copy. Gonna grab a handheld this morning and give that a shot. Thanks!

Checked the new wheel fitment today. Was able to get a 9” front nicely tucked with the autocross alignment on it

the color is “ruby red metallic”. My car was fully disassembled and color changed by an earlier owner. I think there are one or two that left the factory in this color though

I went to my trusted body shop(Haury's Collision) as it was unpainted. The paint match is as good as can be done without repainting the whole car(which would make it perfect).

Installed the PCCM+ unit. Super pleased with how it turned out, greatly improved aesthetically and much improved functionality.

Have you noticed the credit card gap at the bottom center of your screen. Made in China. Our Original OEM radio was made in Germany.

Mine doesn’t seem to have much of a gap. Maybe inconsistent QC or a run of slightly off faceplates?

@vudores - yes would be curious if yours has the gap too. Bigger in the middle, tighter near the edges. Can see a bit of the button if looking between the trim and screen. I don’t actually care about this as you can’t notice when looking at it straight on, but my concern is I didn’t put something back together properly so I started asking around.

When you check, pull off that plastic protective screen cover.

Thanks again to Raudi for entertaining my questions on the PCCM and even making a quick YouTube video for me last night. The 997 GT community is quite amazing.

The gap at the bottom of the screen was bugging me as I thought it had to do with the disassembly I did yesterday. This morning I disassembled it further and got the gap to be consistent alongside the entire bottom. So I think I did have something seated incorrectly, but it seems from pics and vid’s I’ve seen, some are actually coming this way directly from Porsche. Happy to help out anyone with questions now that mine is installed.

I did notice there’s some white noise with volume at 0, but the radio on, from what I’ve found, that’s normal. Actual reception of the radio is perfect.

I also found that on my CDR24 with sound package plus, there is only one antenna cable to connect. Some cars have a yellow and black one to connect, mine only has the black which from my research is also normal. In those cases it was recommend by forum member Steve W
to connect the antenna cable directly to the unit instead of using the adapter cable that comes with the PCCM. So I need to connect that directly tomorrow.

The fiber cable did throw me for a loop (pun intended). I have a non Bose car. From my understanding the fiber loop was needed. However, I do have the orange fiber cable coming out of my car. So I connected the orange fiber cable directly to the MOST box, please let me know if anyone did that differently. I didn’t use the fiber loop included in the PCCM plus at all. Seems to all work good.

Still have some things to finish up with the install and may not get around to that until next weekend, but again reach out if I can be of help now that I’ve installed it and again thanks to those that pioneered the install.

I'll pull my radio next week and take a look at how I installed it, when my side mufflers arrive. I never put on that FM loop thing so have to dig back in to it anyways. My Brombacher aka M&M mufflers are considered the sound version, aka quiet Euro version. Gert had, in his possession, a brand new M&M muffler export version (Loud Non-Euro version). He cut into it to see how the inside is different from mine and is modifying mine to hopefully be like M&M does them loud. Said he is mailing out Tuesday so hopefully I'll have it in 7 days. Excited and can't wait. I should have done a proper before video, but I'll wool up a mic and do a proper external sound video thru Angelus Crest.
