low to mid 40s? Assuming it's a PDK. Some guys will pay/charge a premium for manual.

Got it. That changes things a bit, but it also depends on if you're locked into a 997.2 or not.
There aren't a lot out there right now, so I'm sure this person is charging a premium. Probably in the 50s. To me once you go above 55k you can get into an S or even a 991 with high miles.
You can also get into a .1 S for significantly less than 55...so the question becomes what's your motivation. Model, trim, miles? Etc

Mid 50 is where we are right now. Dealer knows the market and I was able to chat with the original owner who is an attorney in Cali and sold it as he didn’t drive it enough.

I would jump on up to a .2 base out of scoring concerns as well. No way I would go to a 991 again. 997.2 Base is a sweet spot. Wife had a 2010 base cabriolet for a summer and that car drove great. We put Eibachs on it and the ride height and the ride was PERFECT. I never once felt the car was lacking in power or anything.

After reading hundreds of posts I have decided to go with .2 even though she isn’t an S but I’m not looking to track it and will be keeping her for a while.

Doug, that’s exactly my mindset right now. I’m exhausted by searching and this one is just a 4 hour drive from me. Dealer has been selling German cars for a while and he’s very knowledgeable. I negotiated all fresh fluids, tires-as even though had a lot of meat were 7 years old, drive belt and filters.

.1s are scary regarding how many people like you are getting PPIs on cars for sale that have scoring. Seemed like one guy in the pinned scoring thread had 2 or 3 in a row show scoring during PPIs. Yeah, pretty dumb to take a chance on one even if asymptomatic at time of PPI as someone will br dropping $25,000 plus one day on that car. Just a matter of time and then there is the whole resell dilemma.

They do not have it listed any more. Did they sell it to some unsuspecting sucker?
