Keeping an eye on this one as I have the same build except without the hard top and about 50k less miles. GLWTS.

So I'm looking at a 2010 base PDK Carrera with 97,XXX miles for $40,000. CarFax shows a couple minor accidents, but a True360 report found only "very minor cosmetic repairs". I'm planning on getting a PPI - anything in particular I should have them look for? And assuming the PPI checks out, anything else I should be concerned about? Should I look into an extended warranty?

This is my first dive into 997 ownership; my previous P Car was a 987.2 Cayman.

Options per VIN Analytics:
Price: $94,265.00
Exterior: Dark Blue Metallic
Interior: Sand Beige Standard Leather
Warranty Start: September 20, 2010

BASE 911 Carrera
250 Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)
342 Heated Front Seats
345 Heated Steering Wheel
419 19" Carrera S II wheel
619 Bluetooth Phone Interface
640 Sport Chrono Package Plus
672 Navigation Module for PCM
680 Bose High End Sound Package
686 XM Radio
810 Floor Mats in Interior Color
870 Universal Audio Interface
N4 Dark Blue Metallic
P15 Pwr Comfort Seats w/Driver Mem
TD Sand Beige Standard Leather

Seems a little steep for a Base Carrera with PDK, 100K miles and accident history. But I haven’t been following the market too closely anymore, so what do I know.

Welcome to Rennlist! Do you have any pics to share? Also, do you have any details of the accident/damage beyond the Carfax report (clean title?)? I've been watching the 997 market for the past few months (since I drove one) because I'm considering selling one of my 944 turbos to make room for a 997 in my garage. Shopping for a 997 can make your head spin (bore scoring, IMS, prices all over the place for various mileage and condition, etc.). Thanks, Casey.

I’m by no means the pricing expert around here. But if you’re asking how you should price it, I’m sure someone will chime in and give you an opinion. What’s next after the 911?

Take it to Carmax, add 10% usually seems about right.

Higher miles (85k) but not a lot of 6-speed Turbo coupes under $70k anymore.

https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invent...ting=315659276

Edit: They raised the price for some reason, was at $69k.
