I think you should remove the airbox and go back to stock. I will happily purchase from you

I have a similar car in my black aero 997 with the Champion F77 mods etc... and the same stripe your car use to have

again congrats on a great looking 997!!!
Maybe in the far future, but I think the F77 package is pretty cool. I don't typically mod my cars, but I remember when the F77 came out (the gray one.) Pretty nuts the kit is $10G's (labor not incl.)

If you're interested in the RG5 wheels, once I get my 997 GT3 wheels powder coated I'll most likely part with these wheels.

I fly down tomorrow to LA to pick up the car then making the weekend trek back to the PAC NW with the wifey.

Nice looking 997 yourself!

Default And my search begins...

Just sold my 04 996 40th AE and ready to climb the ladder another rung. Have a budget of 40K..ish so assume a 997.1 C2S is realistic. Would appreciate any referrals or recommendations. My preferences are a C2S, coupe, MT, Sport Chrono, less than 50K miles in blue, silver, white, grey or even the blasphemous green.

TIA

This looks nice......C2S with power kit, aero package, deviated stitching, and a few other goodies....

http://www.porscheoftysons.com/detai...-16111851.html

price seems reasonable. Could come down a bit.

Depends on who you know, who you can pay off, and the amount.

There's a shop around here who's 'willing to work with you' on smog, but it seems a little risky to bank on that, considering the commitment required just to get the car out here

I wouldnt buy it unless the seller had the OEM exhaust to swap it out to pass smog. Besides them hooking up their computer to yours, there is a visual inspection. I have to take off some cat bypass pipes on my Fcar because I know they inspect everything with a mirror on a stick.

That is a very nice build... Mostly cosmetic upgrades but lots of additional leather, body-color interior pieces and yellow stitching. And $100,000 under original sticker!

Possible warning flag that it has already had four owners in those 38K miles. I guess it allowed each one of them to just take a piece of that $100K depreciation

That options list is shocking. Don't forget: CarMax 125K/6 year warranty. That will repair anything the PPI uncovers & reliable daily for years. I would put a racing green or brown or something wrap on a yellow car pronto.
That's one hit. A lightly used Ferrari or purchased for $180K would be worth much more today.
