I've come across a 2012 GTS PDK coupe here in SoCal. It has 31k miles and was driven for most of its life in Hawaii. It was a 118k MSRP so its optioned pretty well for my liking.

Dings against it:
- It was driven in Hawaii and has some stone chips from the road surfaces, it also doesn't have a clear bra
- Front and side skirts and wheels have some curb rash, the skirts would need to be repainted and the wheel edges refinished (Maybe $2000 for repaint and $1200 for wheel refinishing)
- The tires need to be replaced ($1500)
- The 30k mile service hasn't been performed, I would likely change all fluids, spark plugs, belts, etc. ($1500)

Overall its a clean car but the owner isn't a car guy so to him its immaculate but has its blemishes.

What do you think would be a fair price for the car considering I would need to dump some cash into getting it "sorted", I'm estimating around $5k.

This is nice...

seems to have X51 kit, sports exhaust, and factory aero package. Deviated stitching and sports chrono and six speed. Price seems a tad high with that many miles but I’m guessing you can get the price down some. Looks to be well cared for.

I'd say between $60-65k depending on car's history. Your costs for maintenance and repairs are a bit inflated.
PDK not as high demand as manual. knocks a bit off price. SC, LSD and SPASM are good options. The rest are take it or leave it.
All my opinion though. Good place to start.
Manuals with this mileage without accidents are going for $70k+. I've had unsolicited serious offers for more than that for mine with similar mileage to this one.

Exactly what I want, but the miles are too high. Another aero kit car in the mid $50k range even with very high mileage. I would pay $60k for this car with $20k miles or less.

What is it doing with 18s?

if a PPI was ok I would not worry about mileage as it’s got the x51 and aero kit. That’s pretty rare. This car will be gone soon.

I might be a little off on the maintenance costs but it’s still close to $5k + the cost of the car at 60-65k, it’s not too bad. I don’t see many clean 997 GTS coupes for sale at a reasonable price.

reasonable is relative. there are few of these cars and they are in higher demand. market sets 'reasonable' price. the maintenance woes will turn a lot of buyers off of this car, but you seem to know your stuff. with a bit of a makeover from you, this car could be a real winner.

I worry about mileage. I don’t want a 911 with a lot of miles. I want an aero kit to keep and put back. This is a rare car though and priced accordingly for miles.

Is this a good deal? High mileage but low price, would hate to throw away $24k for a ticking time bomb. Not worried about the IMS but other issues.

2006 C2 99k miles asking $23,999

Pretty good pricing with these options, wish I wanted silver.
