Definiteky agree with negotiating to low 30s or high 20s.
To to get into a 997.1 4s will cost same for car with slightly less miles with ims worry.

I’ll play devils advocate. If it’s an amazing vehicle, no issues, no bad car fax history with awesome history it MAY be a good starting point. That would be a 55-70k car depending on options and mileage, more If convertible. If it stickers at a higher price due to lots of options that matter to you and has a great history your are comfortable with, I think it may be worth negotiating.

There aren't too many options available locally here in Utah.

... It is owned by a Dr who used it daily and had owned the car since 7k on the clock. But good to know what type of price range I can expect when I am ready to pull the trigger.

Since the thread is about 997s deals, but rarely do we get to see the aftermath, I figured I'd share this one in hopes of helping others.
I ended up buying a '12 GTS, 8,900 miles, PDK, flow-through seats, Lug wheels, Carrera Sports, Carbon console, Sports exhaust, PASM, Chrono, about a $122,000 build. It was reported here and commented upon.
A couple things that popped up to help. First, CarFax. Mine had a bruise about a year ago, 'minor' said CarFax. I asked the salesperson about it and he happened to have been there the day it came in with damage, concurred it was very minor. The owner drove it a bit more while awaiting a body shop repair, so couldn't be too bad. The Porsche dealer sent me the invoices for the repair work, a whole $3200 which on a Porsche is like a nice detail job. One fender, some trim, lots of feddling.
The point is that many people instantly 'pass' on any CarFax report, but a little digging revealed an exceptionally minor blip that - given the car's other attributes - it wasn't worth walking away.
I spent the day today with the car and cannot find one shred of damage, overspray, paint line, even the shine quality and orange peel content is the same. A very fine job.
Next, make sure you get the build sheet. Once I got it I noted it included a Carbon console. This was interesting because the ad didn't mention it, and you couldn't see it in photos. So that was like a bonus.
Another thing was the CPO. Great peace of mind, plus its transferrable should that need arise. It was a good comfort buying this car, because after owning it for one day, my wife and I drove it home from Dallas to Lake Martin Alabama, which is 11 hours straight. Also attended Cars and Coffee in Dallas for a nice send off. All in all, I drove that car nearly 1,000 miles of totally comfortable, fun, fast cruising. It was great. Another bonus - though we averaged 75-80 on the road, the car squeezed 23,8mpg.
So, another GTS is off the market. Thanks to this thread for helping me out.

One Q: did you forget to post an image (in this thread) of your new GTS?! Some of us don't read so well...TIA!

Perhaps an old ad? When I clicked on their current inventory, there weren't any Porsches for sale. Looks like your typical small private dealership

All great cars with too great a price.
The lot is an old school, small lot. Tiny brick building and 15-20 cars.
Down the street from where I live.
As I'm sure many of you see this happen on a regular basis and not easy to report when we see it happen.
Only 1 of the several flaws in cargurus search function.

Guys what do you think of the following:
2011 C2S
Racing Green with Sand Beige and wood trim on shifter, e-brake and steering wheel
6-Speed Manual
Turbo II wheels
Heated & Vent seats
Sport Chrono Plus
Navi
Bose
12-way seats
49K miles, NO SERVICE RECORDS
Whats a fair price for it considering no service records
